You are planning a super fun and laid-back wedding, so you don't want a photographer to kill it with cheesy and awkward photos. I capture the unscripted and beautiful moments as they happen plus we will set apart some time for relaxed shots of the two of you plus of course those important group shots that will be a part of your family album for the next 100 years! I have over 25 years as a professional photographer, sorry I'm not a hip young dude with tatts and a lush beard...but on the plus side have years of experience working under pressure to tight deadlines. Sometimes the odd award even comes my way, it's nice your peers think you can do the job! Travel in the UK is not a problem, I love it, and have had assignments in the USA, China and Africa. With covid putting a halt to events, parties and celebs flying into the country, I am pricing weddings aggressively for 2022. You may get a deal for weddings in Essex, Berkshire and Surrey if they are venues I haven't shot at before. Throw a figure at me, not too ridiculous, but hey, if you don't ask you don't get! Ideally I like to capture your wedding day from you getting ready in the morning to your friend's grooving on the dance floor in the evening. I only photograph 1 full wedding a week which ensures I don't arrive at your wedding burnt out, plus Images will be delivered in 10 days via an online gallery. You won't have to wait 6 weeks for them! I am a full time photographer so your wedding gets my full attention from arrival to when I get home, download and process the pictures individually.
I can't put up a shelf or plumb in a washing machine but people say I can take a photo. My goal is to ensure that 2 weeks after your wedding, you say the best investment you made on the day was the photography. I love it when clients are thrilled with their pictures and would be mortified if they didn't. I'm a people person and love it when couples say their guests thought I worked hard and was generally OK to be around : )
I have been a photographer ever since leaving school, starting off by working in a darkroom, through to covering news for BBC & ITN, Sky etc as a TV cameraman. Then put the video camera down and went digital photographing celebs, where my somewhat cheeky demeanour proved ideal in getting pics out of Mariah Carey, Liam Gallagher...a lot of celebs! Great fun.
