What do you love most about your job?

If there was a fire, my photos are the possession I'd save. They keep my memories alive, they take me back to those moments.
To know that I'm capturing someone else's memories, and moments is so exciting to me.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started getting back into photography when my daughter was born. I didn't want to miss anything because she was changing so fast. I then started to study at college and learn some new techniques and people started to want to pay me for my photos.

Why should our clients choose you?

Because I go above and beyond; be it laying on the muddy floor, making myself look like a wally, learning the names of all your friends and family, I will do it to make sure you feel comfortable, confident and that will lead to the best images.

On your wedding day you'll see more of me than your husband/wife! So making sure that you click with your photographer is really important. I'm sure you'll find me friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable and a bit like a quiet helpful bridesmaid; looking out for you and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Every couple wants their wedding day to be the best day of their life. The job of a wedding photographer is to capture the memories and the emotions of your wedding day, so that you never forget it. Future generations will be able to look back on your wedding photos as a defining moment in history and feel the emotions of your day.

Although there is no requirement to have two photographers for your wedding, it allows more moments to be captured. For example, one photographer can be with the bride whilst she is getting ready whilst the other captures the arrival of the groom and the preparations for the ceremony. Having two photographers means that you’ll get shots that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise, and capture more memories of your special day.

The number of hours of wedding photography that you need depends on how much of your day you want to document, as well as the timing of your day. Most couples choose for the photographer to arrive an hour before the ceremony to capture the final preparations, and then stay until the end of the first dance. 6 to 8 hours of coverage is usually plenty for small to medium sized weddings.
