I could not recommend Amanda enough. Not only is she incredibly talented at what she does but she is quite honestly one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. We had to cancel our date twice due to COVID-19 and Amanda could not have been kinder, more flexible or more generous with her time. She was so sweet with every cancellation and so reassuring and supportive. We had a minor dilemma the morning of our wedding involving a missing wedding car and Amanda immediately offered to drive as many of us as she could fit into her car. Fortunately, the car arrived but it was the loveliest and most generous gesture that really shows what a wonderful and kind person she is and how she really will do whatever it takes to look after her brides.
When I had my trial with her, she was so welcoming and really took time to listen to me, understand what I wanted and what look would match the overall theme of the day. Amanda made me feel like a superstar, not just with how she did my makeup but with how she made me feel in the chair as well. She has a way of putting people at ease and instilling so much confidence. She captured the look I was after perfectly and my make up stayed fresh all day and night long, I had so many compliments throughout the day and I felt so confident in myself.
Amanda’s products were gorgeous and high quality, my bridal party don’t generally wear a lot of makeup but with her skilled application they all looked and felt amazing! It was so lovely to see my mum so beautifully made up as I have never seen her wear makeup before but she loved what Amanda created for her.
We had Laura to style our hair and she did the most beautiful job. She listened to exactly what we wanted and created the most perfect styles that held all day. My hair stayed in place and was still lovely and curly the next day too. All our hair is different lengths/types with a couple of naturally curly hairs and one hair chemically straightened but she expertly managed us all.
Amanda and Laura were also wonderful company to have in the morning, they were good fun but also maintained a calm and relaxing environment. Thank you both of you for everything you did, not just on the morning of the wedding but in the run up to it too.
