What do you love most about your job?

Working with the seasons and nature is a great pleasure. I love working with the different shades, colours and textures to create individual and bespoke arrangements for our clients. Being part of someones wedding day is a privilege, one I approach with the upmost care. Flowers evoke many emotions and mark many important occasions, both happy and sad and I am always impressed by the unspoken word of beautifully arranged flowers. I particularly love discovering new and unusual blooms and finding ways of including them in our work.

What inspired you to start your own business?

The desire to create my own style, reputation and brand, based on my own work and creativity. Having the freedom to express my own interpretation with flowers. Wedding flowers is a particular love of mine, which is why we now specialise in this area.

Why should our clients choose you?

My company has over 14 years creating beautiful, bespoke wedding flowers, across the East Midlands. We have an enviable reputation for our style and dedication to customer service. You will probably purchase more flowers for your wedding day than any other day in your life and they will play a major role in setting the tone for the day.
We offer a free, no obligation consultation, where we will help you with your colour scheme, flower availability and suitability and of course how best to utilise your budget. We also provide a unique flower mood board to help you visualise your finished designs. We look forward to hearing from you.

The average couple spends around £1,000 on wedding flowers. However, many couples spend less whilst others spend more. Whatever your budget, there will be plenty of options available to you. It’s best to contact your preferred florist for a quote as early as possible to talk through the options available for your budget and to secure your date.

If you’re looking to save money on your wedding flowers, there are a few options to choose from. Sunflowers and tulips are ideal options for spring and summer weddings, keeping costs to a minimum whilst still looking great. If you’re having a winter wedding, opt for lillies or chrysanthemums for a burst of colour on a budget.

It’s never too early to book your wedding flowers, especially if you’re hoping to book a specific florist. You should book your wedding flowers at least six months in advance, but for the best chance of securing your favourite florist, you should contact them as soon as you’ve set a date. You’ll then be able to finalise the plans for your flowers closer to your wedding day.
