My daughters sent me a bouquet for Mother's Day which arrived on a Thursday. They looked beautiful that day but by the next day they were all fully open and a couple of stems were bending over. By day 3 many flowers were dropping right over and they all looked past their best. I was very disappointed and so I emailed the shop and sent photos . The shop were excellent and immediately agreed to replace my bouquet and re deliver the next day. I received a beautiful bouquet and the flowers are so much better lasting. We are now on day 6 and they still look stunning. Shame about the first bouquet but can't fault there approach at dealing with the complaint. My faith in using them again has been restored. I have had a great experience with the wedding service offered by Flowers by Susan. I originally started at their sister shop in Arnold, and the lady could not have been more welcoming, enthusiastic and helpful! My partner and I had got engaged and wanted to have a short engagement and planned our wedding within 6 months. We were also on a strict budget. After a few bad experiences at other florists around Nottingham, the Arnold branch was a real positive and from there I was put in contact with Lisa who is the team involved with wedding flowers. Lisa was fantastic, as I work full time and had short notice for ordering 2 bouquets and extra flowers for decorating the venue, she was great at communicating via telephone and email. I'd sent photos of the type of styles I personally like and some extra requests that were special for me and my family. She completely understood what I wanted and on the day I got my showers my breath was completely taken away!! I had so many lovely comments about my flowers on the day and from people who have seen photos. I have used FbS for my wedding in the early 90s, present for child, Valentine's and birthdays over 20 years. My experience has always been first rate and I cannot reconcile the negative reviews with any concept of the reality I have enjoyed. I have never had any issue with the attitude of the staff. When I called just now, on one of the busiest days of the year I was met with nothing but politeness and good humour and was given all the time I needed to make my choice from a range of options.
