‘19 Certificate of Excellence

With over twenty years experience in floristry we've seen many trends for weddings and enjoyed creating flowers for countless couples. We're happy to do as much or as little as you need, from small scale private ceremonies to large marquee, Church, country house and hotel venues. Whilst our main focus is the flowers we can source all manner of accessories including candelabras, vases, pedestals, mirrors, confetti, and plant decor for all styles. If you need floral decor for lychgates, archways, screens, pergolas, ladders or pillars we have handled all these before as well as the country look mason jars, teapots and jugs. If you want an element of DIY then we can design and supply all the necessary ingredients for you, we'll even run a " hen do" workshop for you. Even with all this experience we don't like to get stuck in a rut and always embrace the opportunity to try something new. The latest trend for floral jewellery is so intriguing that we went on a special workshop to learn the techniques.

What do you love most about your job?

I love the challenges it throws up, creating unique pieces for each couple to make their day memorable.
Finding ways to include the pictures of loved ones who cannot be at the wedding has been a particularly enjoyable challenge as well as surprising Mums of the Bride and Groom with inventive Thank You gifts.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Having five daughters had something to do with it!
But honestly my initial interest was through a gardening background, then through flower arranging and finally into floristry.
I started from scratch in the village and have loved building up the client base from nothing to what it is now. In all that time I have loved meeting people and helping to bring flowers into any and every possible occasion.

Why should our clients choose you?

We like to take the worry out of wedding flowers.
Once we've discussed the brief fully and got to grips with what you really want to achieve we'll give you an estimate of what's feasible and what sort of budget you need to allow. If you're on a limited budget we'll be as creative with it as we can to get as close to your dream as possible. Our years of experience mean we know our flowers and the best suppliers.

The average couple spends around £1,000 on wedding flowers. However, many couples spend less whilst others spend more. Whatever your budget, there will be plenty of options available to you. It’s best to contact your preferred florist for a quote as early as possible to talk through the options available for your budget and to secure your date.

If you’re looking to save money on your wedding flowers, there are a few options to choose from. Sunflowers and tulips are ideal options for spring and summer weddings, keeping costs to a minimum whilst still looking great. If you’re having a winter wedding, opt for lillies or chrysanthemums for a burst of colour on a budget.

It’s never too early to book your wedding flowers, especially if you’re hoping to book a specific florist. You should book your wedding flowers at least six months in advance, but for the best chance of securing your favourite florist, you should contact them as soon as you’ve set a date. You’ll then be able to finalise the plans for your flowers closer to your wedding day.
