I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor working from rooms in Norwich city centre. I have been working in mental health settings for over 25 years. I specialise in working with PTSD, trauma, DID and other issues such as anxiety and depression. I am accredited with UKCP. At all times I work in a confidential and safe way and adhere to the ethical codes of UKCP. The first session is £30 and the fee for subsequent sessions will be discussed at the initial appointment. What do you love most about your job?

Everyday I am inspired by the people I meet and see in my counselling rooms in Norwich and Catton. I love the opportunity for people to have a confidential and safe space to be heard and to not be discriminated against. The chance to talk about both the joys and the sorrows of life. To consider becoming more self aware and being able to be more compassionate towards oneself. 💜

What inspired you to start your own business?

I have been a professional in front line mental health services for over 25 years. I have worked with people who have encountered anxiety and depression. I have walked this path after the birth of my first child and the death of a parent. I hope I can offer compassion and understanding and that you feel able to contact me by phone or email. My focus with my counselling business is to be able to accompany individuals on their journeys to healing, better self-awareness and recovery 💜

Why should our clients choose you?

I have been working with some people for nearly three years now and so some of my work is ‘open ended’. I also offer time limited counselling which is continually reviewed between client and counsellor. Therapy isn’t the answer for everyone and I can’t wave a magic wand. But I do welcome you to explore its possibilities with me.

Clients choose to work with me because of my client centred approach and my experience of working with adults in various mental health settings. I consider myself to be calm, honest, focussed and compassionate.
