Working within the mental health services for over a decade there was a lack of education in self-defence, after being assaulted or being in dangerous situations due to my work I took it into my own hands to learn some skills that I very much needed. Just like that I was training Krav Maga more and more so I undertook Krav Maga Global's 23 day Instructor course and passed in the top 3 of my group. Since then I didn't look back, I wanted to see what I could pass on to people. Some people have had a lot of challenges and train with me, some people want to get fit, some want to be social whilst learning something, there are plenty of reasons to start. Mine was through necessity, what is your story?
Your training will be bespoke to your needs, you can be younger, older, very fit, not very fit, it really is ok. I have taught students up to 77 years old and everyone works at their own pace but also encouraged to push their boundaries. If you have had a serious incident I have experience in rehab, recovery and trauma therapy, so we can build your confidence, fitness and assertiveness. If you want something social whilst learning a life skill as well as having fun then we are here.
