Find a Self Defence Class in Derbyshire

We have been attending classes for some months now and we love it, we have this time as our mummy/daughter time and it is superb! It's fun and engaging for most ages and encourages courtesy, respect, control, strength of heart and spirit plus the added bonus of healthy exercise too! TTKD has welcomed us with open arms and we already feel comfortable with the club and its members! I would recommend to anyone looking for a martial arts school for them as an individual or as a family. Definitely 5*

My son who is now 5 has been been doing Martial Arts now with Synergy for over a year. It has been absolutely amazing for him, his confidence has grown so much, it's been something for him to look forward to even during lockdown we have been able to do classes over zoom. When we started this class my son was a bit shy and not always the most confident but that has changed so much and he loves to share his achievements and new skills. It's been helping burn off some energy, improving his balance and focus. Marcus is great with the children too always encouraging them, helping them to improve but also making the classes fun for the children as well. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone. Joint Effort Chinese Martial Arts and Health Practices teaches Wing Chun in a professional and friendly manner. Lessons take place on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The lessons are 90 minutes and priced at £6, which fall as you become a member. The classes are filled with a mixture of different skill sets, but everyone there are extremely welcoming. I started only a couple of months ago and aim to continue.

I’ve been coming to the club since February and absolutely love it. The instructors are really friendly, and the mix of Martial Arts that the classes covers keeps it really exciting. For the amount of times you can train each week the membership is really good value. We’re really happy with the progress that we’ve made over the past few months and look forward to continuing to improve our skillset!

An excellent family environment where every child's abilities are catered for. A fun place for my child to meet friends enjoy karate in a safe place. A must for everyone

Fifty3Degrees/Infinity Martial Arts is a fantastic place to train. There's a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the level of instruction is second to none in the area and there's a large number of classes available to fit around your routine, including in the mornings. The prices are transparent, excellent value for money and tailored to how often you want to train. My four year old daughter also trains here and absolutely loves it. The instructors are fantastic with the children, making martial arts easy to understand but more importantly fun. There's nowhere else that either of us would want to train.

Went to Tom to ask for some help building muscle. Nearly doubled my numbers in just 3 months and helped me gain enjoyment from being in they gym, which is something i'd struggled to do myself. Highly recommend to anyone needing any sort of fitness related training.
