Silverrock is a reggae band specialising in early reggae music from the late 60s through to the 70s and knocking on the early 80s. If you like original foundation reggae music featuring legends of the era such as Dennis Brown, John Holt, Gregory Isaacs, Bob Marley and Ken Booth, just to name a few, then Silverrock will be an ideal choice for your event. We normally perform as a seven piece live band, including horn section. However, depending on the nature of your event, we can perform as a duo - lead singer and saxophonist - playing to backing tracks. Silverrock was set up by Greg Small and Ann Marie Atkins who are lead singer and saxophonist respectively. When the full band is in swing, Ann plays keyboards with another musician taking up the role of saxophonist.
There is no better feeling in the world than seeing the audience dance and enjoy the music your performing that you grew up on all those years ago. People work hard and life can be stressful at times as we all know, so being able to give people enjoyment for one or two hours plus, where they can lose themselves in the moment, is an overwhelmingly satisfying feeling.
Silveerock started in an almost accidental way. My partner Ann, who is a professional musician, kept hearing me singing around the house and she said to me one day that she's going to start a reggae band and I was going to be the lead singer! She thought there was a gap in the market for reggae bands playing the sort of reggae she had in mind. In addition, she thought it would be a good distraction for me away from work!
As Silverrock we have proven ourselves to approach each gig professionally, ensuring proper rehearsals no matter what size the expected audience. We have been repeat bookings at pubs, festivals and dedicated music venues. We research our audience in advance and tailor our offering accordingly.
For us, on stage is not just about singing and playing well, but about entertaining the crowd with a few jokes thrown in, trying to get them upto dance, basically trying to be engaging with your audience.

Saw this band in cople a while back and thoroughly enjoyed the night. Up beat , happy music that gets everyone dancing . All band members were interactive with the crowd and made you feel welcome . Music was on point and excellent vocals from the female lead singer . At the end of the evening I sat with them outside , what a lovely bunch of people . They liven up any venue they go to . Definitely worth their money and pack a venue . They were excellent at the river festival and hope to see them back there again and do more outdoor venues like this again . Well done guys keep up the good work .

I booked Burning inferno for a photo gallery launch and they are an amazing band and know's how to create a party atmosphere, my guest loved them. They are also extremly proffessional and punctual. I would definately hire them again and recommend them if you would like some premium entertainment for your event.
