I am a fully accredited UKCP psychotherapist offering couple and relationship therapy in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. I am located just off the A10. It is 5 minutes drive from the M25. Cheshunt station is 20 mins walk and nearest bus stop 2 mins walk. I am currently offering couple and relationship therapy at my Cheshunt practice. My fee for a 75 minute session is £100 and for 90 minutes it is £120. Couple and relationship therapy sessions are usually once a fortnight. I work within a GSRD (gender, sexuality and relationship diversity) framework and aim to offer a welcoming space to people from all backgrounds and in all types of relationship structures. The modality of my original training is body psychotherapy which recognises that the mind, emotions and the body all affect one another and work together. It is a holistic approach that involves the physical as well as psychological and emotional aspects. A holistic approach can enrich and support your process as well as helping you to deeply integrate any benefits gained in therapy. Please call or email for more info or to arrange an initial appt. Looking forward to hearing from you.

What do you love most about your job?

Body psychotherapy offers an opportunity to help people to access deeply held resources and to release blocked energy on emotional, physical and psychological levels. It is a gentle, respectful and creative approach and an effective way of supporting insight and integration.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My aim in training to be a body psychotherapist has always been to work in private practice. I am passionate about psychotherapy being made available to as many people as possible.

Why should our clients choose you?

I work in a very person-centered way and have been through my own personal process including various forms of therapy and have 20 years' experience of working with clients in a variety of settings including with the mental health charity MIND. You are welcome to give me a call and ask any questions before arranging to meet me for an initial appointment to see how it might be for us to work together, after which you can decide whether or not you want to continue working with me. I encourage clients to let me know what is or isn't working well for them throughout the therapy we do together so that we can check in about how things are going, easliy and openly.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I offer body psychotherapy sessions via Zoom where meeting in person is not practically possible for the client.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I have a thorough Covid-19 risk assessment and adhere to strict a hygene protocol when meeting with clients in person. My therapy room is well ventilated. I am fully vaccinated and I also complete regular Lateral Flow tests. When working in-person I agree with clients how to proceed if either of us tests positive or has had contact with someone who has testsed positive. Usually this will mean meeting via Zoom until the increased risk has passed.
