What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

For me, it's about being relaxed, understanding the "why" and having as much fun as possible whilst shooting.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

Why do you want to shoot and what are the images for? Understanding this will help tailor the shoot accordingly.

What do you love most about your job?

I love making people feel great about themselves or about what they do and I really enjoy the fact that I'm doing something I seriously love to do every day. This drives me.

What inspired you to start your own business?

With over 20 years experience of working in the corporate world I decided to do what love, follow my passion and make photography my full time day to day job. I haven’t looked back since.

I love being able to help people feel great about themselves or to help ideas and businesses come to life.

Why should our clients choose you?

I genuinely love what I do and I make sure every shoot is enjoyable and as stress free as possible. I have a relaxed but professional style and pride myself on delivering exactly what you need every time.

I'm experienced in working with clients who may be nervous or unsure on what they really need. So if this is you, I've got you covered!

I love to understand your reasons for shooting and use this information to tailor the shoot just for you. This helps make the shoot time efficient and productive.

If you have any questions I'd love to hear how I can help so feel free to reach out.

The number of photos that your photographer will take will depend on the type and duration of the photoshoot you book. You won’t see most of the photos either. This is because your photographer will take duplicate photos in case anyone blinks or looks away. They’ll then delete any photos that don’t come out quite right before showing you the final selection. A one-hour family photoshoot will typically generate between 30 and 60 finished photos.

What you choose to wear for your photoshoot is a personal choice. It’s important to choose an outfit that you feel confident in, as this will help to put you at ease during your photoshoot. Try to avoid busy patterns as these may blur on photos. If you’re having a family photoshoot, it’s a good idea to co-ordinate your outfits to ensure that you don’t clash with each other.

There are a few things that you can do to prepare your children for a photo shoot. Firstly, tell them about the photo shoot and help them to get excited. This will give the best chance of capturing smiles on camera. It’s also a good idea to make sure that the photo shoot doesn’t conflict with nap times and that your children eat, drink and go to the toilet before the photoshoot begins.
