Loving Photo Moments

‘21 Certificate of Excellence

I have supported events for over 15 years now and portraits have always been my love. I have always loved looking at work that involves great lighting, emotions and creativity and then adapting the skills for myself. I love a love story, from your engagement to your family session it is the story that melts my heart and it is my pleasure to help you create a moment in time to have for life. To me, photography is more than just shoot and burn and give to clients, it is the entire experience and process which is your journey with me, the details, the editing and finished products. With photography I tell your story. This is your timeless investment and it is my pleasure to be providing this service to you. Providing a professional quality service to my clients is my mission at every hire. From business headshots, weddings to your baby photography, it is all about the end quality results. I love to capture those natural laughs and smiles, moods and tenderness of each moment, those features that make you unique. I am very relaxed to work with and very patient and determined. A newborn changes so quick and you're not going to repeat a wedding so invest in quality with a professional. I take pride in my planning of a shoot, preparation and value in my finished photos. I don't want you to have hundreds of the same shot variations, after I have edited your photos I want you to love a handful.. really really love that handful because you loving that handful of bespoke photos means more to me than having a hundred of the same photos. My two children are the most precious people to me and through my photos of your moments I love to also show the love you have between your precious people too. I love to work with families and couples who appreciate value and quality. I want to hear from professionals and businesses on how I can make their products and their personality shine. Every shoot, event, project is different so get in touch for that bespoke photography service! A complimentary 10x8" print for you, if you call me, book me through my website or Facebook! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

Listening to the needs of the clients, bringing out their best features. Lighting, set up, camera, lens, location relaxed subject are all key to great photos.

Knowing how to adapt to every situation whether it is sunny or indoors, moving or static. Framing and telling a story with the picture is quite important in my opinion, so capturing the moment and the essence of the event or person. The story in the picture is what it is all about for me. Equipment and

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

If it is an event: What are the key shots for the day (if it is the event for instance). How many people at the event, where is the location, does location allow flash photography. All these information are ironed out in the consultation.

If they want portraits then I will ask them how many people are getting photographed kids and adult numbers for instance. What sort of look do they like.. such as some clients may like the dark moody type of shots (so low key) or the natural documentary lifestyle type of photography or high key (white background ).

Questions for all scenarios: What is the end result that clients want. For instance.. what will you want to do with the photographs? For events capturing the day they might want all digitals on a disc, for weddings they might want an album and wall display mixed packages, so the project is planned around client's end goals.

What do you love most about your job?

I love it that I can do what I enjoy, what I am good at and call it a job. I love working with people to have beautiful pictures and products hanging on their walls and displayed in their houses, it makes me so proud to be part of creating people's memories. I love the diversity in the projects that I get so I am constantly learning and honing in my skills. I love working with others as well as sharing my knowledge with other photographers. I have a great community of photographers that I associate with. I get to capture that special moment in someone's life and be part of that moment in their time. It is just such an honour and pride to me when they have quality products they can cherish a lifetime.

What inspired you to start your own business?

It was a natural move to set my own business as I have the background which led me there. I graduated in Multimedia and worked in Multimedia for over 13 years and just have naturally been doing what I love. I am inspired by my love for photography as the first and foremost reason to set up my business but also because I love the freedom it gives me to work at various projects.

Why should our clients choose you?

I have experience doing events photography for a long time as well as various different weddings from Muslim to Church and more. My ability to capture moments, natural and posed, I believe, is a positive to hire me. I aim to work with each clients requirements and deliver high end quality at all times. I am part of the Society of Portrait and Wedding Photographers so provide high quality service and products to my clients at the professional standard. I provide value for my clients and great quality products and service.

The number of photos that your photographer will take will depend on the type and duration of the photoshoot you book. You won’t see most of the photos either. This is because your photographer will take duplicate photos in case anyone blinks or looks away. They’ll then delete any photos that don’t come out quite right before showing you the final selection. A one-hour family photoshoot will typically generate between 30 and 60 finished photos.

What you choose to wear for your photoshoot is a personal choice. It’s important to choose an outfit that you feel confident in, as this will help to put you at ease during your photoshoot. Try to avoid busy patterns as these may blur on photos. If you’re having a family photoshoot, it’s a good idea to co-ordinate your outfits to ensure that you don’t clash with each other.

There are a few things that you can do to prepare your children for a photo shoot. Firstly, tell them about the photo shoot and help them to get excited. This will give the best chance of capturing smiles on camera. It’s also a good idea to make sure that the photo shoot doesn’t conflict with nap times and that your children eat, drink and go to the toilet before the photoshoot begins.
