We have always kept dogs and they are an essential part of our family life. Our business grew out of looking after friends and family dogs while they were away on holiday or for long weekends as they didn’t want to put them into kennels. We loved it so much we decided to make it our business. We offer many services including doggie daycare, long and short staycations, weekends and dog walking. We are licenced to board up to 5 dogs in our home. We work closely with you and your dog so you both feel comfortable, happy and ‘at home’. At the Cosy Dog House we are DBS checked, insured and trained in canine first aid.
We love getting to meet different dogs and their owners. We adore dogs, seeing their different personalities and quirks, and learning what they need to make them happy and comfortable. We love taking the dogs in our care for walks too. We walk in some beautiful areas, and the dogs we walk seem to love it too.
We have always been the go-to people to look after friends and family's dogs. We have always had family dogs and love to surround ourselves with animals. It seemed like a natural choice to set up a business the revolves around animals, given that we were already doing things such as dog walking and boarding for friends and family.
We pride ourselves on the 'cosy doghouse' feeling. When dogs stay with us, be it for just a day or boarding for longer, we want them to feel as at home as possible. We aim to adapt our practice according to your dogs needs, whether they need longer or shorter walks, more or less feeds, medication or perticular behavours.
