We are so pleased that found Nigel on Google, our little boy never show much interest of music and instruments, he's been taking lessons from his school recommended tutor (1 to 1) for many months but still can't play anything, out of tune and no rhythm. But now he can play a few tunes after just a few lessons with Nigel, he can play it much better now with more correct beats and rhythm, and his fingers glide more smoothly so it sounds more like the original songs, more importantly he's really into it and enjoying it. Thank you Nigel!

I offer: * Guitar lessons * Singing lessons * Bass lessons * Ukulele lessons * Songwriting lessons * Music technology lessons About me: I established Dan Joseph Music in 1999 to be the best decision for your journey in music. I am committed to helping you reach your musical goals. I plan lessons around your favourite music, so you can learn to play the songs you love accurately.

Dan is one of the most personable individuals I know and before my first lesson was complete, I knew I was in highly capable hands. Keen to play bass on stage, I invited Dan to take me from zero to hero and turn me into a rock legend. The journey could not have been more enjoyable.
First and foremost, Dan makes learning to play fun. He encourages musicality as well as promoting technique. He's a very pragmatic tutor who goes out of his way to adapt each lesson to the individual's preferred learning style. When my technical inability thwarts progress, Dan simply finds an alternative approach. The upshot is that I can play a number of songs with confidence and when it all comes together, there is no better feeling of achievement, nor a bigger smile generator!
Our sessions have continued despite Covid-19 complicating social interaction. Dan has very adeptly delivered business as usual via online lessons and the use of a shared screen. The same level of professionalism is present, lessons can be recorded and notes annotated on the music as one plays - all from the comfort of one's own home.
All in all, a fantastic experience where fun and progression go hand-in-hand.

As a beginner it's always nice to find a teacher like Adam who can promote confidence and be incredibly patient. He is a very nice person and I would not hesitate recommending The School of Drumming to any age group or experience level. For me he sets the right level of challenges and fun and I always look forward to my weekly lessons!

Hello! I offer one-on-one guitar tuition in rock and pop styles, and have been teaching since 2009. I attended the Academy of Contemporary Music and have played hundreds of gigs in several bands over the years. I teach both acoustic and electric guitar and, being left-handed myself, I can easily accommodate both right-handed and left-handed players. My focus is on teaching beginners and I lean more on the fun side of playing, using songs you enjoy as learning tools.

I've been having guitar (acoustic and electric) lessons over Zoom with Matthew for over a year now and really enjoying them. He is extremely patient and brilliant at adapting lessons to your ability and preferred music.
Matthew is great at breaking things down and making them understandable. He also encourages me to 'go my own way' and explore music I like, so if I find a song I want to try he will help me figure out the chords etc.
I find the lessons very freeing compared to being at school and doing grade pieces! He also has strong knowledge of music theory. His lessons are a nice blend of playing and fun and also understanding the technical side of things.

I'm delighted to offer a reference for your teaching, for which I am most thankful.
Steve first took me as a pupil in the middle of 2008. Up until then I had been a typical self-taught guitarist for about 25 years, and really I needed to have a much better understanding of the basics of what I was doing, in order to improve, whilst recognising that family and business commitments would limit the time I had available. Over the last two years Steve has completely changed the way I feel about guitar and the way I go about practice and preparation, and I intend to build on this with his help. I now enjoy playing far more than I ever realised I could, and I have no hesitation in recommending anyone to seek out Steve's help regardless of their current level, from beginner to advanced.

I'm a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (Masters, jazz bass) and Cardiff University (undergrad, classical guitar), achieving the highest classification in both.
