Hey, My name is Richard Constable from Guitar Journey and I have been playing guitar for 20+ years.
We have been running Guitar Journey for 5 years and have taught over 200+ people. I also have 20 years of gigging and recording experience including doing a BTEC in Music Technology and a degree in Recording Arts.

What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing my students progress and passing on my 20+ years of Guitar knowledge onto them. From never played to kids playing ACDC is incredible!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to share all the tips and tricks I have picked up over the past 20 years of gigging, recording, touring, playing and practicing. I know that Guitar was a huge part of my life especially growing up and I know it can be for others.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are dedicated supportive teachers who have your back from day 1. Patient and kind from tuning your Guitar to helping you play your first solo. We follow a method called the G4 Guitar Method which focuses on skills so that you can play songs much better.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, we do both face-to-face and online lessons. We use zoom for our remote lessons and it works really well. We can share screens and annotate live to help explain everything.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We make sure we keep 2m apart and wear masks where appropriate. We open a window to make sure there is fresh air coming in and we spray down the room and equipment after each student.

4 Week Intro Course
We go over the 7 essential skills of the guitar which include: picking, scales, and learning your first chord.
We also learn our first song on the journey which is super fun!
Monthly Lessons
Here we continue growing your 7 essential skills making you a more confident all round guitar player. We keep adding to your repertoire and make sure you learn songs you love!
