I've been helping students to improve their English for a four years and I absolutely love it. Each student is very different, and not just in their ability level. I strive to understand each person carefully, in order to identify the best route to facilitate their learning. I do this not only with methods (interactive puzzles and games, computer work, cooking and activities) but also with topics, often providing lessons tailored to their interests, motivations, feelings. I am consultative in approach and enjoy asking the students how they feel it is going and listening to their viewpoints.
I felt I had a lot to offer students. I myself attended a school where the main language was not English. I know it is hard to live in a country when the language is not your own. But I strongly believe learning a second or third language is hugely beneficial and I wanted to start Zoom English to prove it can be done in a fun, relaxed, stress free way.
Because I focus on the individual. I work out how they learn, if they are visual, like to write or prefer to learn through activities. I listen to their hobbies and interests and encourage enthusiasm through these. Oh and I have a 100% satisfaction rate too!
