Greek Tutor Me

Hi everyone! Thank you for dropping by! If you are looking for a structured, well-organised, punctual, friendly, and experienced Greek/English tutor, then why not give it a go with me? I am a Greek native speaker from Corfu but have been living in the UK for the last twenty years. I can teach you Greek and English. I have taught the English language to adults and children for the last ten years, working towards their personal goals. I have also assisted Greek students pass their B2 level English exams with distinction, and we continue working towards higher achievements and goals. My extensive experience teaching Greek or English to people from other cultures has allowed me to get to know them, respect, and help them understand the structure of both languages.

What do you love most about your job?

Teaching has always been a passion. I love passing on knowledge and teaching people. It is gratifying to see people gaining knowledge and becoming passionate when learning a new language.
Learning a new language from scratch can be challenging, overwhelming and daunting at times. But this is where the beauty lies.
Unravelling the words and letters, putting them together until they make sense, and finally using them.

What inspired you to start your own business?

The curiosity and love about new cultures and languages. I have been fortunate to grow up in a multicultural and cosmopolitan island where I interacted and worked with people from all over the world.
I am sure that most people would agree that the best way to learn a foreign language is to live in the country where the language is spoken. However, the world's last couple of years' circumstances changed the way we travel - amongst other things - and how we learn and get educated.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am an enthusiastic person, with a friendly attitude, and people feel at ease when they speak to me.
My extensive experience teaching Greek to people from other cultures who wanted to visit Greece for a few days or needed to learn Greek for work or relocation has allowed me to adopt to each person's learning needs.
For the last ten years I have been teaching English as a foreign language. My students were adults and children with remarkable progress.
