Essex

Marie and Janet from Tours4Paws operate dog walking and home visit services in Billericay and surrounding areas. We are fully insured and DBS/CRB checked so we can provide your furry friend with the care, companionship and fun they deserve. We understand that our customers lead busy lives; work commitments, child care, injury or illness sometimes means there’s simply not enough hours left in the day for ‘walkies’. No matter how much we love our canine companions, many dogs don't get the opportunities to do what their breed instincts tell them to. Our back gardens won’t provide the variety of sensory stimulation most dogs need to ward off boredom. A more intense daily workout can help curb behavioural problems, ease anxiety and most importantly, keep them feeling healthy and happy. Our flexible services can be for daily walks or occasional walks when you need an extra pair of hands. Our tours take us to lots of fun woodland areas, country sides and parks, so your furry friend will get all the exercise they need. We treat every dog as our own so be rest assured your pooch is in the best possible hands being walked by a reliable and responsible walker; playing games, having fun in the park and having lots of cuddles! We will even send you ‘Pup-Dates’ from your pet whilst we are on tour, so you can rest easy that they are having a great time!

What do you love most about your job?

First and foremost it's seeing the dogs enjoy their walks visiting different areas having fun. We love the challenge of perhaps helping some dogs overcome their shyness and anxiety to becoming confident in their play.

We love getting to know their little traits and individual personalities because as dog owners ourselves , we know that each one is different. We love the variety. Every day is different and we get to interact with such a varied group of dogs.

What inspired you to start your own business?

We both have our own dogs Ted ( the loving Labrador)and Ollie (the Welsh Springer Spaniel) and have always enjoyed our walks together. We both know the difficulties of juggling work life balance and can appreciate that our services can assist our clients . We felt that there would be nothing more rewarding than having an occupation doing something we love.

Why should our clients choose you?

We feel our clients would appreciate the fact that we will treat their furry friend in the same way that we treat our own. Our main priority is all about the dogs above anything else. We want our Clients to be reassured and feel confident that their furry friend has had the love, cuddles and fun that they deserve while they are away busy, hard at work .
