Got a good feeling about these guys from the word go. From Gaynor on the phone to Dylan for our quote visit to Neil our engineer, all were first class. Paid slightly more than another quote but so glad we did. The quality of work from Neil exceeded our belief on what these guys would deliver. Never have I had an engineer in our house who has worked so independently and probably left our house cleaner than when he arrived! Walsh Plumbing were fantastic to deal with from start to end. Unlike the larger companies they send an engineer to survey the job prior to providing a quote, this also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions or get advice before you place an order. Once I placed the order and paid the 10% deposit, they were able to install the new boiler within a few days. The fitter arrived on time and completed the work as planned; the install quality is excellent. They also ensured that the work met all the boiler manufacturers requirements e.g. a chemical flush, magnetic compliant filter and water limescale filter, this is important to ensure I get the full 10 year manufactures guarantee. There fitters work for them, and many have been with the company for several years. This is not always the case with some of the large installers who contract out the fitting. Since the install they have contacted me to ensure I was happy and have triggered the paperwork for the registration of the boiler and the gas safety certificate. We did have a small issue on the day of install as their supplier could not get hold of a NEST thermostat due to a product shortage. I managed to buy one locally and Walsh compensated me with no hesitation or issues. This really showed a great level of customer focus. I have now taken up an annual maintenance contract which they offer to ensure the boiler remains gas safe and I get the manufactures warranty. Walsh Plumbing were not the cheapest, but they were not the most expensive either. They offer good old fashioned customer service, and you can speak with a real person, not a call centre in ?????? I fear that the larger companies like BOXT and British Gas have great sales but their after sales service is not as good. In summary a great company you can trust to do a quality job at a fair price with excellent customer service. More...

From the very start when we had estimates to change our boiler, Walsh Plumbing Ltd was the most professional and with a reasonable quotation. Anton, the heating engineer turned up on time and he did not stop working until he had finished the job. He was very polite and in spite of a few problems which he informed us what he was going to do with the fitting of the new boiler, made a first class job of it, he cleared all the rubbish up and took it with him, including the old boiler.
