What do you love most about your job?
First and foremost getting to meet so many lovely dogs (and their owners too of course! :) )
121 Puppy Training. With many of us leading extremely busy lives not everyone has the time we would like to dedicate and train our new fur babies. The recommended method, and the one you and your puppy will get the most out of is for me to train the puppy's 'humans' how to train their puppy.
However, with work family and other commitments, that’s just not always possible. So I also offer the option to train your puppy for you.
This can be with you present, while you’re at work, or out, and will take place either in your own home, another suitable venue and/or a local park.
For the best results good training relies on repetition, reward and reinforcement, so your puppy continues to remember what they have learnt. With puppy training normally once per week, you can see that most of the ‘reinforcement’ needs to be done by you as the ‘human’.
All training will be backed up by handouts that allow you to easily continue reinforcing what your puppy has learned. For a solid all-round training of the basic commands, this normally takes puppies about 4-6 months of training, mostly by you in small short sessions. However, if you then consider you are going to have 10-15 years or more with your polite, well behaved and happy dog, it’s well worth putting in the effort at the very beginning when they are easiest to train. Of course all puppies are different and just like us some take longer to train, whilst others may be super quick.
I am happy to offer single one off sessions or as a discount package.
I am fully insured, with a clear DBS check and am also trained in Pet First Aid and CPR.

(Note: For owners using the single session option, I will focus on a couple of commands or behaviour issues of your choice, which can be discussed during the initial consultation. (Video/telephone call).

Starting out as a dog walker, puppy training is the perfect job for me. I am 55 years young, passionate about your pooches and love being able to help you bring them to their full potential. I live in Woolwich and have many years experience in looking after dogs both my own, customers and friends and family.
