Wagtails Dog Training

We have booked Tracy for two block sessions to help us train our cockapoo puppy Minnie. We are first time dog owners and after day 3 with our puppy, we felt totally lost and a bit helpless. We had had 3 nights off no sleep, we were struggling to toilet train, and we were receiving so much conflicting advice we didn’t know what to do for the best. Tracy was so reassuring from the first meeting and has guided us through with patience and so much care ever since. Minnie loves her training with Tracy. She’s warm and kind and intuitive, and has quite literally provided us with a hotline of constant help and advice since Day 1. Minnie has settled into being a loving, sweet puppy who sleeps all night in her crate and takes herself off to the toilet outside and we are now working on recall with Tracy, as Minnie progresses into her next phase of training. Tracy was a lifesaver for me and helped me keep my cool so many times - going well above the role of trainer! Tracy is a very professional, meticulous, and patient dog trainer. Even before Lion came home, I had already booked six lessons with her, focusing on house manners and some outdoor training. Before the training even started, she guided me on how to set up Lion’s space and the equipment he would need. I’m very satisfied with the results of Lion’s training. Along the way, I also learned a lot knowledge from Tracy—for example, how to help Lion ease the discomfort during his teething period. After the first six lessons, I didn’t hesitate to purchase another package focused on recall training. Compared to other puppies his age, Lion is already doing exceptionally well. We worked with Tracy when our pup Shilo was just 3 months old, and she was fantastic. She really listened to our priorities, and Shilo picked things up so quickly even after just one session. We cannot say enough good things about Tracy. She is without a doubt, an incredibly knowledgeable, intuitive, and supportive dog trainer. From even before the first session, Tracy was able to give advice and recommendations that made real differences for our puppy (and us!). Before we reached out to Tracy we were thinking we could get away with using google and ChatGPT to train our puppy, but honestly, Tracy’s input is completely superior to any online advice. She takes the time to really understand both you and your dog, before offering tailored and actionable advice. She was always on hand via WhatsApp to validate our worries and offer solutions. We’ve had an amazing experience training our puppy Sandy with Tracy! She’s incredibly attentive and always very responsive whenever I have questions. Sandy has learnt so many important skills and consistently listens to commands both at home and when we’re out and about. Tracy uses positive reinforcement methods, and it’s clear how much Sandy loves her — always a great sign of an excellent trainer. Tracy absolutely saved us in the first few months of having our golden retriever puppy. She was available via WhatsApp for all my questions (which they were a lot of) and she was constantly checking in to see how things were progressing - always providing guidance and advice on how to improve things. Tracy has been amazing! Having her come to our house and tailoring the training to what was more relevant to us was great. She went on walks with us and showed fun games to play at the park so we could see practical examples of what we can do to have a happy and well behaved puppy. Can’t recommend Tracy enough. We have done six sessions with our Labrador puppy Sunny and he has made so much progress. Really was a life saver at the start learning to crate train and stop biting and begin learning recall and pavement walking. Thank you !

Tracy, was fantastic! I recommend her to all my friends and anyone who would asked me if I know a good trainer. I was a bit late with the socialization of my puppy and the transformation she helped with was phenomenal. My main concerns with my toy poodle were the biting phase, walking and separation anxiety and Tracy provided me with great tips on how to overcome our issues together. I have a nervous cat, he sometimes doesn't like me and is very timid around new people. Tracy looked after him while I was away for the weekend and he loved her!
