Very quick to respond came round to inspect our roof. Did the job the same day replaced a few rows of tiles and replaced rotten lats and membrane. A couple of new tiles and all good.

AVOID GETTING ANY WORK BY W HARTLEY LTD!!! POOR QUALITY WORK, CONSTANT LEAKS WITH GUTTERING INSTALLATION, REFUSING TO FIX IT, SPEAKS RUDELY AND HANGS UP PHONE. TRYING TO CHARGE ME £200 TO COME OUT TO FIX A LEAK AT THE JOINTS OF THE GUTTERING THAT'S ONLY BEEN RECENTLY INSTALLED. THESE LEAKS HAVE HAPPENED AT EVERY JOINT OVER 5 TIMES!!!

We fitted the new fascia,soffits and guttering around property, We where called out because thr guttering was leaking, we called out and the guttering was moved out of the joint, we fitted it back in and sealed it, we got called out again and this time the guttering was pulled out of a joint on the back, no other guttering job has done this, we fixed it and sealed it and screwed the outlets and joints so there was no movement, now he says it has moved again, in all the jobs we have done no other guttering job has moved out of place on its own , never mind 3 tlmes , we went back three times and even after the 12 month workmanship guarantee was finished, dont understand why only this guttering has moved again and again,

Having previously fallen prey to a rogue roofing trader (via Bark) at our previously property in Yorkshire, I was hesitant (to say the least) to place another job. Five months ago we moved into a converted sandstone hospital (built in 1850) which had the worst cast iron guttering design I have ever seen. In short, it leaked at a couple of joins. However, I am not alone. All other properties as part of the development had similar problems. I originally requested a quote from William (the only company who responded to job) to resolve the guttering, and to our dismay found a number of defects. Having been told that the roof had been completely rebuilt when the property was renovated 5 years ago, it was annoying to see how the work has been shoddily done in places. A picture tells a thousand words. William quoted us a fair price to rectify all the defects and they were all completed promptly. The work was done to a high standard, at the agreed price, and our property was left very clean and tidy. The moment William and Michael came on site, other neighbours approached them for quotes and it looks like years worth of guttering issues have finally been resolved. I would definitely recommend W Hartley Roofing based on our experience. Quality roofing work is not cheap, but good value.
