What do you love most about your job?
I love being in formal retirement, not having to meet profit targets and therefore as the owner (with my wife) of the Vintage Wedding Car Hire enterprise, having time to maximise our service benefits to our Clients . Not only driving them in an outstandingly rare vintage car, but being able to offer our marrying couples great service and this opportunity to be driven in such a special vehicle.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Following decades as a senior management employee in the advertising industry I formed new businesses, firstly specialising in strategy development through market research and latterly followed my passion for all things automotive by developing technical upgrades for older V8 Jaguar cars. The rare opportunity to buy such a unique marque /model of early SS Jaguar and following 4 years restoring it to perfect running order, allowed me to start the Vintage Wedding Car Hire enterprise and to share the pleasure of driving this remarkable car for newly wedded couples.

Simply .. a genuinely caring attitude based on years of successful professional Client Service ... offering clients an outstandingly different and rare Vintage Car (only 18 of this model exist in the UK) , ideal for comfortable stylish wedding transport and additional image opportunities for Clients' photographers... It is highly unlikely that clients will ever be able to ride again in a similarly rare 1939 SS One and a half sports saloon.

Yes. All information can be provided by internet email and booking forms exchanged by pdf. Payments by usual BACS services.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We will always where possible keep a discreet distance from our Clients. In the event of any official information on a notable re-surgence of Covid-19, we will wear and have available if required, masks for passengers. At all times, a bottle of 70% hand cleaner will be available in the car for Clients use. The cars interior will be carefully cleaned before each hiring. and ..the chauffeur will during his duties normally wear gloves.
Chauffered Vintage Wedding Car Hire
Friendly but respectful, not over-familiar Service, coupled with Attention to Detail are key attributes of our service offering to marrying couples as well as the unique car.
We will always scope the best journey plan in advance and again for traffic issues on the wedding day, to arrive at all venues well in time and without rush.
If staying at an hotel or other accommodations, our driver will automatically offer assistance with bags or other arrangements.
Our fully restored 1939 SS Jaguar 1.5 Saloon is a very rare (only 18 known) vehicle, finished in it's factory suede green, which additionally sets it apart from the majority of wedding cars on offer. It's patinated comfortable leather seating and sophisticated wood trimmed interior offers our clients a wonderful ride, well imagined in the era of the 1930's. The opportunity for Clients to travel again in this unique marque / model would be very unusual.
Once a booking is agreed, we will provide on the wedding day a calm and un-hurried service, spending if required the additional the time to take in the couples moments of reflection, meet/ greets, photographs.
Car Ribbons of the couples choice and Bottled Water, mints, tissues, will be available within the commision price. An integral picnic table in the car's boot lid provides an excellent opportunity on fine days, from which to serve a glass of champagne whilst waiting to depart for the next venue.
Also, the retro vintage era of the SS provides our Clients the opportunity to request Graham to don vintage style attire as an alternative to his regular drivers uniform.
