Sam Underhill runs a very efficient service. He turns up at the agreed time, does the agreed job and is sufficiently flexible to manage anything else that crops up with aplomb. Yes, I know that one should expect that from all providers of service but we all know that it doesn't always work out like that. The tidying up at the end of the day is particularly impressive. Sam and his team did an excellent job on my sycamore tree, leaving it looking attractive despite the need to lop off quite a few branches to make it secure in high winds. Sam and his team agreed to remove 4 cedar trees from a boundary with some neighbours, trees which had grown threateningly close to their buildings. After giving almost a week's notice (in spite of recent changeable weather) they removed them well within half a day, leaving a valuable supply of shavings but otherwise few signs of their visit on either side of the boundary. Very quick to respond to my request for a quote, unlike some companies that completely ignored me. Done a great job in cutting down a fir tree in my back garden. Sam agreed a very competitve quote, was very professional, and explained how his team would proceed with their work. This is the second time I have had work on my trees done by this company. They come when they say they will, plan the work thoroughly to get the best result for the tree. Valuable help was provided in the lead-up, with guidance on the initial planning application and on dealing appropriately with planning / conservation officials.
