Jon and the team at UKEDI have completed numerous projects for us over the last 5 years on our barn diversification project and all work has been undertaken with care, professionalism and adaptability. Nothing has been too much trouble when inevitably things change and Jon and his team are always willing to advise with their expert knowledge. With any trade, it is possible to find a cheaper quote but inevitably the quality of workmanship, materials and most importantly, reliability, will reflect the price whereas, Jon has the highest of standards and is meticulous in his approach which resonates through his team and he will often QA work to ensure it is to his exacting standards. I can highly recommend Jon and the team, I can always rely on UKEDI to deliver and he has proven this on multiple occasions. After meeting Jon for a quote to rewire my house I found him to be efficient and extremely professional. Jon’s attention to detail knowledge and professionalism was superb and sent me a very competitive quote which I accepted, the work was carried out in a timely manner despite several issues due to it being an older house. What do you love most about your job?
Being able to offer a service that I can be proud of. From quote to sign off myself and my team always give 100% from start to finish and take pride in all that we do. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to produce work that not only looks fantastic, but to walk away from knowing its safer than is was before we arrived and to leave our clients happy and satisfied feeling that a good job has been completed. It's always nice to be appreciated and recommended for our efforts its what makes it all worthwhile.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My Uncle owned an Electrical contracting business in the Midlands. He is a man I have always looked up to from an early age. Id made my mind up from a very early age I wanted to be an Electrician and follow in his footsteps and that's what I did.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are Reliable, Punctual, Polite, Friendly, understanding, attention to detail, Quality workmanship, problem solvers and a great reputation. Our online presence says it all really and the proof is always in the pudding. We also offer finance for works ranging betwen £500-£15k making those costly home improvements affordable even when at short notice.

We offer free advice over the phone or via our website. We often resolve power loss issues over the phone cost free by talking home and business owners through restoring power by resetting devices without the need for calling out an Electrician. We are always happy to discuss anything with our customers and offer free professional advice.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Since COVID we operate pretty much the same, We ensure our engineers wash hands regularly, we request that rooms are aired 30 minutes prior to arrival at a property or business premises and we test regular to ensure that we are not carrying COVID so that we limit the risk of spread. We always call out clients prior to starting the works to ensure that everyone is well before attending. We do not send engineers out if they are feeling unwell or showing signs of sickness.
