What I love most about my job as a roofer is the satisfaction of seeing a project through from start to finish—taking something damaged or worn down and turning it into something strong, secure, and built to last. There’s a real pride in working with my hands, being up high with a view most people never get, and knowing every roof I complete keeps families safe and dry. It’s hard work, but there’s nothing better than standing back at the end of the day and saying, “I did that.”
What inspired you to start your own business?
My grandad was the one who first inspired me to start my own roofing business. I grew up watching him work hard, always with pride in what he did and a commitment to doing every job right. He taught me the value of honest work, showed me the ropes on the tools, and passed down skills that no book could teach. More than anything, he showed me that building a good name for yourself means everything in this trade. Starting my own roofing business was my way of carrying on what he started—keeping his work ethic, his standards, and his legacy alive.

We can discuss materials, timelines, and even book in your job—all online—saving you time and hassle while still ensuring a professional, high-quality service when the work begins.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
To keep my customers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, I made several important changes to how I work. I followed all government guidelines, including wearing masks when needed, maintaining social distancing, and offering contact-free quotes and consultations. I also used phone, email, and video calls to discuss jobs, so there was no need for face-to-face contact unless absolutely necessary. On-site, I kept interactions to a minimum and made sure all tools and surfaces were cleaned regularly. My priority was always to protect my customers while still delivering a reliable and professional roofing service.
