I've worked with other trainers, and Tom is definitely the best PT I've had. With other PTs I would get short terms results and then plateau, but with Tom I've always kept progressing.
All his workouts are carefully planned, and tracked so you can see your progress. There's good variety, switching out things that aren't working and keeping everything interesting.

Working with Tom has been one of the finest pleasures of my life. I had met him when practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and really loved the fine details he went into when he would describe techniques and it really helped me elevate my game.
Once I was more comfortable and learned he also offered personal nutrition and training, I decided to undertake one of his programmes with the goal of bettering my health and learning some new, healthier habits. I knew he had great success with others in the past bit was a little tentative as I always had issues with self discipline and control, especially with food and a lack of training. Tom's Consultative approach to nutrition and his extreme level of detail when planning for me, has helped me to finally build in healthy habits into my day to day life. Through some trial and error, we found a nutrition programme that worked for me and I'm pleased to say it has completely revolutionised not only my metabolism, but how I think about my own nutrition and body. The first few weeks I didn't see any significant progress with my weight as I stayed consistently at or above 100kg. And then as in factored in some personal training programmes to suit my lifestyle, I saw immediate and long lasting changes. I am down to around 88kg now and still improving, all whilst vastly increasing my strength capabilities and overall flexibility.
My entire life I was overweight and unhealthy and finally I am in a place where I feel good, feel strong and feel happy with my body and appearance. This would not have been possible without Tom's expert advice and meticulous professionalism. Every single step is explained beautifully and he takes time to make sure you do fully understand nutritional concepts in terms that apply to yourself and always has the relevant links to studies or reports indicating the results he is using as a base for his programmes.
Tom's work had been nothing short of immaculate and I could not possibly recommend him any higher than I currently am. He is an exceptional nutritionist, an exceptional Strength and conditioning coach, an exceptional Jiu Jitsu instructor, and more importantly, an exceptional human being.

I started working with Tom for help with nutrition, I had done a lot of sports when I was younger and had been going to the gym for several years, but never got the results I wanted in terms of how my body looked. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
My process works in 3 simple steps:
1. Figure out the bottlenecks. What’s the biggest thing holding you back from getting the results you've always wanted? The first thing we do is a detailed assessment of where you're at.
2. Create a precise plan. I'll build out a clear roadmap for the coming weeks of training to show you the exact route we take to your goal.
3. Guide you through the execution, step by step. Nothing crazy complicated, just turn up, work hard, and I'll handle the rest for you.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Having the right set of priorities. There are 2-3 key, deceptively simple things for training and nutrition that make 80% of the difference. Get those priorities right and everything falls into place with less time and effort than you'd think.
The main reason most people struggle is that they're majoring in minors - they're focused on the things that intuitively seem right, but at best only get you 20% of the way there.
What do you love most about your job?
I know first hand what a huge difference great training and nutrition can make to your life. Growing up I was small, never took to sports and was hampered with a condition called Poland syndrome that made it all the more difficult. It was only in my late teens and early 20s when I learned and committed to proper training and nutrition that it all turned around from me. It gave me more energy, made me feel more capable and more comfortable in my own skin.
I love that this is a replicable process that I can guide people through. Nothing gives me more joy than seeing people realise the physical potential they always knew they had
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always primarily been a teacher. In my teens, I taught guitar. In my early 20s, I taught maths. I love sharing things that fascinate and capture me with other people.
Why should our clients choose you?
Honestly, because I can deliver results. I don't mean to sound overly confident by saying that, but the demands of people I've worked with meant I had to.
A lot of my work has been with amateur and professional athletes in weight-class-based sports. These were people whose careers depended on making a specific weight class by a specific date, all while staying in peak physical condition and being able to perform at a high level in the gym and competition.
These were hard deadlines and very high levels of demand. Everything I did had to work reliably and in short time frames.
Ultimately this experience transfers very well to regular people. If you want to feel better, move better, lose weight, gain muscle or look better, these are all things I've done consistently to a deadline for clients. Those methods can work for you too!

I was extremely careful to follow all the relevant guidelines throughout the pandemic, and was lucky enough to help several clients cope with and rehabilitate from long covid. If any requirements need to be in place for your training we can make that happen
