We’d never used an architect before, so we didn’t know what to expect — but working with Henry has been great from start to finish.
Henry made everything feel simple and manageable, even though it was all very professional. We were able to see all of the drawings in one place, leave little notes, and even upload photos we liked from other houses. It felt like we were part of the process the whole way through.
He showed us different versions of the design in 3D, which helped us picture what it would look like. We're not very tech-savvy, but he explained everything clearly, and nothing felt rushed or confusing.
We’re absolutely delighted with how it all turned out and would recommend him to anyone.

We approached Henry after being recommended to him by a friend and were very happy with the whole experience. He has been a pleasure to work with, being communicative and considerate at each step.
We wanted to redesign the flat and convert the loft into a new bedroom and ensuite. We also wanted to repurpose the outbuilding in the garden into a studio room.
Henry understood our needs for something cost-effective, and was clear on what would add to cost significantly. So we reused the building as it was, just adding new bi-fold doors, we were then able to spend more on the new garden space, with a bit of landscaping and decking. Henry did all of the design work for the landscaping and arranged with the engineer for the structural work. We were very happy and would recommend him to others, thank you!

What inspired you to start your own business?
The Story Behind Thirty-one Thirty:
The name “Thirty-one Thirty” pays homage to a childhood dream. At a young age, my neighbour and I spent countless hours building, crafting, and creating together, often imagining a future where we would start our own construction company. The name reflects the houses we grew up in—his was 31, and mine was 30.
While life took us on different paths, I remained committed to that shared vision, and in 2023, I founded Thirty-one Thirty Architecture, with a focus on crafting thoughtful and enduring spaces.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because it's just me! I answer all enquiries, proposals, and messages, so any concerns or queries come directly to me. I am completely flexible on how you wish to communicate, whether that be via phone, email or even text or WhatsApp, it can be as formal or informal as you want it to be :-)
My fees are very competitive, and I utilise the same technology and design tools as the big firms in the industry, having been trained there. Enabling a quick and efficient process in everything from surveying to existing drawings, concept design to planning applications, and technical design to construction.

Yes, my architecture services can be delivered online, however, if I should need to visit the property - this is no problem at all and can be arranged weeks in advance, at your convenience.
