I set up my business 7 years ago after teaching for 14 years and never looked back.
I am Canine First Aid trained(May 2024) fully insured through Pet Plan and DBS checked. I have 2 beautiful dogs who walk with the packs regularly. Most of my dogs are young and energetic, walk off lead, all are well socialised around other dogs good with a good recall.

Absolutely Fantastic!
We couldn’t be happier with Claire as our dog walker! Since she started walking our dog Daisy, we’ve seen such a positive change—Daisy has really come out of her shell and seems so much more confident and happy.

Claire is absolutely amazing! She walks my mums high energy sprocker and our very nervous shorkiepoo.
The love she shows for the dogs in her care is oustanding and I wouldn’t want my dogs walking with anyone else.
She collects and drops off and takes them on long walks to burn off their energy. She has provided hints and tips to help train my dogs and provide lovely videos of them enjoying their walks when they are.
Her prices are very reasonable and bad weather never stops her and she always has the dogs best interest at heart.
I wouldn’t highly recommend her to anyone needing a reliable dog walker.

Claire of The Woof Shack, has had our cockerpoo for over 4 years, Jett has day care and boarding with Claire, Claire is a brilliant dog walker, takes dogs all over for their walks, so they never get bored, Claire is professional, kind, loves all her dogs, even the ones that are bit naughty, when Jett comes home he is tired and content and settles down for the evening, Claire’s sends videos when out on her walks, so you can see what your pooch is doing whilst out, Claire does not need to ring our bell Jett knows the sound of her van and runs to the door to greet her, Jett loves Claire to bits, I feel relaxed knowing he is well look after, you will not find a better dog walker than Claire, we could not manage without Claire’s help.

She’s friendly, reliable and very reasonable.

CJ is the best choice we ever made for our pups. We work a lot and have a border collie and a spaniel so they demand a lot of excercise and stimulation.
The spaniel was very antisocial despite being well trained and struggled with anxiety, walks with the woof shack has turned him into another dog. He is part of her little pack now and he makes friends and is much more comfortable and calm in public places.
She isn’t a trainer, she just knows how to make dogs feel comfortable and how to exercise them safely whilst providing plenty of enrichment.
My boy doesn’t like cars either, but he about pulls me over to get in her van. She is my pups favourite person and they know when it’s their day to see her because they wait for her by the door. They don’t even do that for their favourite family members!!
If you need a reliable, affordable and knowledgeable walker, we highly recommend woof shack. Changed our lives and improved the quality of life of both my dogs. ❤️

CJ is reliable and flexible - organising group walks etc around any different needs dogs might have - so the dogs are always safe & engaged when in her care :)

Claire is amazing. Oscar loves her and looks for her coming and has fun with her on his walks. She has trained him from being call obsessive to enjoy his walks and be more inquisitive like a springer should be. She is very caring and has built up a great relationship with myself and mum. Her dedication to the role is second to none and no weather stops her coming. Whilst out on walks she sends lovely videos to show how much fun Oscar is having. We have been using Woof Shack now for over 2 years, Claire is great and our dogs love going on the group walks.
Our 2 Labradors have both been going out with Claire from being only a few months old, the groups walks are always carefully paired with dogs who get along and are very well managed when out.
I love that we receive regular pictures and videos off the walks, which never fails to make me smile while I am working knowing that they are out having the best time.
We would definitely recommend Woof Shack.

What do you love most about your job?
Spending my days surrounded by dogs, walking in nature, enjoying each others company.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had my own dog Maggie, whom I adore who inspired me to set up my own dog walking business after deciding not to teach anymore.
Why should our clients choose you?
I care deeply about the dogs in my care and make every attempt to keep both dogs and owners happy. I have 11 years of experience with dogs, so I can generally guide owners with training tips or guidance on behavioural issues.
Dog walking
Pack walk - Dogs are out for up to 2 hours with pick up, 1 hour walk and drop off) the total cost for 1 dog is (£13) Reduced rate to £10 if walks are daily.
2 dogs from the same household pack walk is (£22) for a 1 hour walk. Reduced rate if daily walks req
High energy dog walks -2 separate 1 hour walks (23.50) Dogs are out of the home for up to 4 hours.
Puppy socialisation after all vaccinations - (Price varies) £9-£13
Solo walks -After 2pm only £9 for 30 min walk-£15 for a 1 hour walk
Dog boarding
I only board 1 dog at a time but they must be part of my dog walking pack.
Cat feeding
Food and water check, change of litter (30 mins - £9)
If more visits required that can be discussed but only cover S2 for this service.
