We weren’t really sure what we wanted for our wedding ceremony, just something simple and unfussy, something fun and relaxed. What we got from Richard was all of those things and way more.
From our first phone call, FaceTime calls right through to the end of our ceremony Richard has been amazing to work with.

We’re both now so glad that there were no registrars available for our day and instead chose Richard to conduct our ceremony (an absolute blessing in disguise or fate maybe).

Our guests all said the same thing…. That our ceremony was a perfect, intimate and touching reflection Craig and my relationship. It was different to normal wedding ceremonies but in the absolute most positive and beautiful way.

Richard was fantastic from start to finish.
Professional , relaxed, reliable and amazing at reading who we were and what we needed to relax into the experience. Being people who don’t really enjoy standing in the spotlight or discussing emotion publicly we were a little bit nervous about the whole experience but it turns out there was no need.
Richard took our nerves and squashed them and by our second encounter we were we throughly confident that he was the celebrant for us.
We shared many laughs through the process and on the day he was so calm and professional ever guest we spoke to has mentioned how amazing they thought he was, how funny, warm and heart felt our service was.

Thank you Clare and Gavin for you lovely words, it was a pleasure to be part of your day, you are a wonderful couple and it was such a joy to get to know you both too.

Where do we start?
Richard was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
He replied to me so quickly after I sent an initial enquiry email, and we scheduled in a phone call.
On speaking to him, he was very sympathetic and understanding and offered some lovely comforting words.
We arranged to meet in person, and not only was he kind and friendly, but he remained completely professional throughout.

He spent a great amount of time with us, asking questions and gaining a history to really get an idea of who Mum was.

He kept me in the loop, with an initial draft of the eulogy and the way he had written it was genuinely lovely.
He spoke such kind and lovely words, and really helped to make it a celebration of her life.

He rung me the day before the funeral to see if I had any questions or any particular concerns for the day which I thought was lovely.

On the day, his kind face was a real comfort when we arrived at the crematorium on what was understandably a very emotional time.
He spoke so confidently, and so many people commented on how great he was.
I went to stand up too early at the end of the service (🙈) but he very kindly guided me to stay seated.
He waited at the exit doors to say goodbye to everybody, and made the effort to come and speak to me personally at the end.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Richard.
