I worked with the Viking Coach for 4 months.
He is a great motivator and allowed me to learn so much about my limits. The best thing about working with him as well is my fitness he really improved my mental resilience.

Sam has been my personal trainer for just over 1 year. I was unhealthy and overweight most of my life with multiple health conditions. Prior to being coached by Sam I was on a number of different tablets daily, 3 different tablets for my blood pressure and 2 tablets for my rheumatoid arthritis. Sam has provided me with weight loss guidance, motivation and patience. I had implemented the guidance he provided, and lost just over 3 stones. The weight loss has improved my blood pressure, the pressure and weight on my joints and I have been medication free for 9 months! Through weight loss I have now become the best version of me, understanding my body, gained body confidence to the point I love wearing shorts, gained confidence and willpower. This year I have completed a 5k colour run, completed tough mudder, paraglided on holiday, climbed Snowdom and have half a Marathan booked for next month. I have thoroughly enjoyed training with Sam, in all our sessions I have been pushed outside my comfort zone and managed to excel in exercises where I never would go out of my way to do. I have PB’d in my sessions and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without Sam. I have learnt lots of different techniques and training styles which I will take on board with me in the future. A huge thank you for giving me that push where it was much needed, I hope to continue progressing and reminding myself of my confidence levels when it comes to having bad days. Where shall I start....! Never been to a gym or had a PT, one random night checked online and posted my interest. Sam got in touch with me, arranged a meet at the gym. Was like another world I'd walked into, but Sam made me feel comfortable. He asked me what my needs where and how he can help me, explained to me the cost for different packages and cost of gym. I decided to go all out and get the high end package :). Coming close to my 3 months package now, Sam has pushed me as much as he can. No pain no gain they say. My body changed dramatically with Sam. He is soo easy to get on with and keeps you updated on everything from nutrition plans, to new work out regimes and is VERY good at his job. Prior to beginning training my goal was to build strength and get into Olympic weightlifting. The training program had continuously been adapted based on any weaknesses or other issues I have. For example, a weakness in my shoulder or cubital syndrome. This has given me a lot of confidence as the program is based on achieving my goals safely.

Additionally, during training sessions even the smallest issues in form have been noticed. But more importantly the reason why it could be happening such as a weakness or flexibility. He then showed me how to fix these issues. So overall I am confident I will meet my goals through this program.

The correct guidance with your nutrition and training, along with regular check in’s are included with all Face to Face and Online Coaching packages.

Motivation can only take you so far, consitency and discipline have to take over to keep results coming.

Services

1-1 coaching sessions at Foundry Gym Halesowen. We’ll put together a package depending on your goal and what your’re looking to achieve.

All package include full access to The Viking Coach app, weekly check ins and 24/7 support.

I also offer group coaching sessions at the same location. 2-4 people.

Each person involved will recieve personalised plans and coaching but we will complete our workouts as a group.

This service is FREE.

Whether it’s face to face or via video call, we’ll work together to find exactly what you’re looking to achieve and get a plan in place to get you there.

Initial assessment including postural analysis and range of motion testing followed by a 40 minute initial treatment.

Following the initial assessment we will work together to help you become stronger and pain free!

Whether you’re interested in this for fitness reasons or to learn the techniques of the art of Muay Thai. I’ve got you, use of a full size ring and 60 minute Muay Thai focused training sessions will be an enjoyable yet challenging way of learning the game of 8 weapons.
