From start to finish, Maria was exceptionally organized, quick to respond, and always went above and beyond. 🎂👰🏻 She started by providing tasting samples of her cakes, and despite the challenge of planning a wedding from across the world, Maria was so flexible and accommodating with scheduling our tastings and planning sessions. She even coordinated with my stylist and florist to ensure the colors matched perfectly.🎨 When it came to the cake design, Maria brought so many creative ideas and shared visual representations to make sure everything was just right. We wanted a small, one-tier cake to cut together, and she made it perfect. I even entrusted her with a small trinket of my dog to include in the design, and she kept it safe for me until I returned to England. 💕🐾 Maria is not only talented but also a genuinely kind and passionate individual who puts so much care and attention in creating beautiful wedding cakes. WOW - Maria is so incredibly talented! I had the pleasure of working alongside her at a styled wedding shoot a few weeks ago. The theme of the shoot was 'alternative / dark romance' and this cake stole the show. We had our wedding cake made by Maria at Viking bakehouse and we couldn’t have been happier with it! She came to our house to do a consultation and to talk through ideas that we wanted and also gave us a taster set. This was a great time to discuss all options and to see how she felt too. She was amazing in this consultation and didn’t rush it at all and made sure we were 100% happy with our choice. The cake was everything we asked for and it tasted absolutely amazing!! What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to create beautiful cakes and help make memories to treasure. It also allows me some flexibility around family life and being able to be more present for my children. It does however mean some late nights but they're worth it to see the smiles on faces when they see their ideas come to life in cake form.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always loved making cakes and seeing the reactions from people is a great feeling. When made redundant after 23 yrs in the Financial Sector due to off-shoring, I decided to follow my dream and do something I love and share my creations helping spread the cake love!

I will work with you to create something special for you, bringing your ideas to life or if preferred, by taking the reigns fully and surprising you!

All discussions and agreements can be made via message/email/call and I can provide delivery for an additional fee.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Collections can be made at my door step or I can bring the cake out to your car limiting contact as much as possible.
I am happy to wear a mask for collections if you would prefer.
