The performance method was a great experience. Lucas was thorough throughout the program in tailoring it towards my requirements and helping me get prepared for upcoming 7s season, whilst introducing new strength exercises which I am continuing to build upon. I have using Performance Method for about 10 months now and with Lucas for about 14 months. I find morning with Performance Method very beneficial as it helps to track progress very easily and provides very helpful videos and descriptions if uncertain on how to do any exercises. If there is any queries on technique of any exercise Lucas is always detailed and timely with providing advice/feedback on how to do the exercises and how to get the most out of every exercises. On a monthly basis we meet up in person to go through in person any parts of the programme I want to fine tune or have issues with and Lucas is there to support. I did in-person training with Lucas, after having had a back injury and being told I needed to build up core strength by a physio. He took this onboard and managed both my injury and the recovery really well. I really enjoyed working with him, he was very welcoming and reassuring especially coming into quite an intimidating gym environment and I thoroughly enjoyed the process! It was great to get mini videos of Lucas demonstrating the exercises rather than some generic images. The in person feedback and sessions are really good and he just seems to see things that are not quite right- I don’t know how he does it! But he makes sure every movement is spot on in targeting the right muscle/tendons and always has a solution /alternative to try if I am struggling but also spots cheating! He is super focussed. In 2 years I have gone from overweight WFH at a desk all day (for 15+years) to running marathons and have my first ultra this year and injury free!!! More...
