What a cake! Greta made a cake for our beach themed wedding by the sea in Kent and it was absolutely incredible. We are both open water swimmers and spend a lot of time at our beach hut - and wanted something fun to reflect that. The cake she produced not only looked amazing but tasted great too. She was amazing!!! Our wedding was August 20th and we reached out to her almost last minute for a cake and she delivered, literally and figuratively. The whole process was so simple, and she dropped the cake off at our venue and set it up, seamlessly. Wow. Greta is the best of the best. From the first enquiry to setting up on our wedding day - Greta was just so kind and accommodating. Firstly - our cake tasting box which was sent quickly and packaged so professionally was amazing. All flavours we chose to try were so delicious and we struggled to pick just one as we loved each flavour. Greta also helped supply flowers to decorate our cake with when we were struggling to source real ones. The cake blew me and my husband away. Not only had she exceeding expectations with our custom cake toppers, but the cake, donuts and macarons were incredible. Just wanted to share appreciation and for if anyone is ever looking for a cake to be made for any occasion that I’d HIGHLY recommend The Little Cake Box - Cakes in Canterbury WOW Not only did she take me on 3 weeks before my daughters first birthday party (as the previous has let me down) but she absolutely nailed the brief ! I was honestly blown away with the detail on this cake. It looked fantastic and the taste has to honestly be the best tasting cake I’ve ever had. I found Little Cake Box after much searching for someone local, a home baker I appreciated first that Greta could, on this occasion, help me with fairly short notice, I found that she was quick to respond, helpful and I love her website and the gallery photos, her pricing is very competitive and after collecting my order, was delighted the cake she had created for my daughters 40th birthday The cake was devoured as it was such a beautiful sponge and the buttercream delicious - I highly recommend and will be using Greta again in the future

We got a semi naked 3 tiers cake (salted caramel, peanut butter cup and Cherry Bakewell -those last two are UNREAL) with flowers and a peaking deadpool. WOW, where shall I start. we received the most outstanding service from Greta from the moment we made our first enquiry about ordering our wedding cake Greta made everything stress free and no question was too much for Greta to answer. Our wedding cake was outstanding, the detail was beautiful and even more than what we had imagined. we had three different flavours on each tier, biscoff, carrot cake and salted caramel every tier of our cake was delicious, it is hands down the best cake we have ever had. I booked Greta in 2020 for my wedding in July 2022 and from start to finish she was outstanding.
Quick replies emails. Helpful information and just so organised as well as just being so kind.

On the wedding day she done my cake and wedding favours they looked and tasted sensational.

Once booked with Greta you don’t have to worry about anything she takes care of everything.

The cake was everything I wanted and more and the favours really made the table.

The only hard thing was that she has sooo many incredible flavours to choose from it was hard to hard to get i down ton3 tiers! 😂

I have used Greta for the last couple of years for my childrens birthday cakes. They are always decorated with the highest detail but they really are the most incredible tasting flavours. This year my son had a big party so we had super hero cupcakes and omg they were the most incredible cupcakes I’ve ever seen.

Honestly so bless I have found you and will forever only use Greta!!

The only thing I will say is if you want Greta for any occasion make sure you book early as she gets booked up so fast cause she’s the queen of baking!!

Greta created our Wedding Cake which, quite simply, was absolutely out of this world! We will put a link to some photographs in due course however we wanted people to know just how much Greta is one of a kind, something which a previous reviewer highlighted. All of our Guests commented (unasked) on how delicious, moist, succulent, juicy and rich the fruit cake was and their praise of it was genuine and not just the platitudes you can sometimes get at weddings when people are trying to be nice. It was really, really delicious and added to that the way Greta arranged the fresh flowers on it was absolutely what we had envisaged and wanted, making it a beautiful work of art to behold and gaze upon even before cutting and biting into wedding cake heaven. We shall forever remember it as being a significant and important part of our wedding day and which contributed to the overall day turning to be completely perfect. Greta also showed great patience and gracefulness when we had to postpone the wedding date twice due to the pandemic. The start and stops we had due to circumstances beyond anyone's control were made so must easier by the flexibility she showed throughout. We are incredibly grateful and appreciative of her kindness and generosity in offering and then baking the cake again so it would be completely fresh. This was unasked for and there was no extra cost, Wow, thank you! As readers probably realise, we obviously recommend her unreservedly and it is true to say so would all of our all guests. It was apparently Greta baking a cake for her daughter who was five years old at the time that started her on the baking path; The Little Cake Box being the result. We would guess that many people unknowingly owe her Daughter a huge debt of gratitude.
