What inspired you to start your own business?
Hello, I’m Sophie, the proud owner of The Kitty Cat Club!
With almost two decades of cat grooming experience, my journey started as a Saturday girl for my cousin when I was just 14. At 18, I bought my cousin’s shop, known as Top To Tail, co-owning it with my sister.
While I adored what we built at Top To Tail, my heart yearned for a space dedicated to our fantastic cat clients. So, here we are, with our very own Cat ONLY grooming spa in the heart of Old Coulsdon.
At The Kitty Cat Club, we’re not just cat grooming specialists – we’re a family. With two dedicated groomers on-site at all times, we prioritize your cat’s comfort and safety above all else. Our products are carefully selected to enhance their coat and comfort, while preserving their natural beauty.
From nail trimming to lion cuts and thorough maintenance comb-outs, we cater to all breeds. Our modern, hygienic salon has been designed with your cat’s comfort in mind. We look forward to welcoming you to the club!

Generally we are based in our state-of-the-art cat only grooming salon. This calm well equipped environment is the perfect peaceful sanctuary for your cat to feel safe. However we can do a home visit when required however this does have an extra fee.
NAIL CLIPPING
Clip your cat’s nails in a stand alone appointment or Nail Clipping is included in a full groom price.
FULL GROOM CLIP
Clipping is an option for any cat’s that struggle with hairballs, matting or if their family prefer to keep them short and maintained. Our highly trained stylists can clip your cat into a variety of styles;
Full Clip – We clip the cats entire coat down to the same length. Leaving your cat with a smooth easy to maintain finish up to 3mm in length.
Comb Clip -This is where we can achieve a longer clipped coat from 1 inch in length. This cut can only be done on a matt free combed out cat with a calm temperament. For best results we suggest combining this appointment with a bath.
Lion Clip- Full clip leaving mane, tail and legs. We work with your preferences to leave your cat feeling roarsome!

Any remaining coat will be combed out line by line using 3 different types of combs to remove any tangles and any dead coat.

We suggest all cats book in on a regular grooming schedule to ensure their coat stays in good condition. Please note a cat‘s coat can look uneven and choppy after a clip until the coat settles (5-10 days). For best results we suggest your cat should have a bath as this leaves the coat clean and dry enabling us to get the best finish.

COMB OUT- DE-SHED
Want your cat to look natural but well groomed? Our comb out is designed to minimize shedding , hairballs and matting. When booked regularly (4-12 weeks) this is the perfect service to keep your cat looking natural while maintaining their cleanliness and overall health.
A full coat brush-out, line by line using 3 different types of combs to remove any tangles and any dead coat.

You can customise your cat’s comb-out service with add-on options to make their coat more manageable, depending on how natural you’d like them to look. From a belly shave to a full trim all around, we can tailor the service to your preferences. Additionally, we offer wet baths and blow-drying to ensure your cat is in optimum condition.

HAIRLESS
Recommended for any hairless breeds which tare prone to get greasy. The full groom is specifically designed to maintain your pet’s cleanliness and overall health.

SANITARY CLIP
We clip/ trim your cats groin, armpit and bottom area to keep the area hygienic and easier to maintain.

BELLY CLIP
This is the perfect option if you want your cat to look natural when standing but struggle to maintain the coat between grooms. We clip the belly of your cat ensuring they have no knots and undercoat in this hard to groom area. The Belly clip is inclusive of a sanitary trim.

TROUSER TRIM
Does your cat get messy around there backend? Why not have that area tidied up to keep it more hygienic and easier to maintain? We Trim the back trousers to your desired length.

Combine the trouser trim with a belly clip for a much easier to maintain cat!
TRIM ALL ROUND
Would your cat benefit from a tidy up but you don’t want a full clip? This service might be perfect for you. We trim all round the silhouette of your cat styling to your desired length including their trousers.

BATH & DRY
BATH & DRY
Bathing a cat is the best way to get the coat tangle free and healthy. We start with a gentle cleaning shampoo to remove dirt followed by a chubb bar that helps remove excess oils and deep cleans the coat. We then wrap them securely in a towel to remove excess moisture and pop a happy hoodie on to protect their ears from the dryer. We use a low velocity dryer to dry the coat whilst combing removing any dead undercoat. Contrary to popular belief many cats thoroughly enjoy this process.
