The Garden Doctor, Home Counties

We did not want a gardener that was just a mower and blower. I wanted someone who could advise on all aspects of the garden: when to trim or cut or move shrubs and where they are best suited. One property was a detached rental and the other my own property.

We contacted Bark who we had used before about finding a pet-sitter, it made searching so much easier. It was evening when I contacted Bark and I was surprised to receive a message that a gardener would be in touch. It was after 9pm. I was even more surprised to receive a message from The Garden Doctor Home Counties, in other words, Dan, asking when he could call to view the work. The day and time were agreed. When Dan called it was obvious that he was the person who we needed to deal with both properties.

Dan started work at 8am and continued until late afternoon. His approach, manner and professionalism were excellent and the tenants returned that evening and were delighted with the garden. It was agreed with Dan that he would maintain both properties in the future. More...

Dan is very knowledgeable and has been extreme helpful with regards to our new and overgrown garden. He's also helped us out with a completely separate garden/driveway problem which was not part of his job, but for which he gladly advised on and helped with.

Dan was great - punctual, polite and did what he said he would. Cleaned up after he had finished and my garden looks amazing. Would recommend
