I have two beagles aged 8 and 5. When Hamish the eldest was a puppy I joined Pet Stay as a dog home boarder. Whilst living in Glasgow I cared for and walked all my friends dogs when required. Since relocating to Stewarton I decided to start my own dog walking business. I am Disclosure Scotland checked, fully insured and canine first aid trained. I adore walking dogs and building relationships with my furry friends. I love to provide a variety of stimulating sniffy walks. I only walk 6 dogs as a maximum number to ensure that I am fully insured and adhering to my insurance policy terms and conditions. This also enables me to ensure that their safety is paramount. I use positive reinforcement when using voice or whistle recall commands whilst walking, however, new recruits are initially kept on the lead before I am able to have confidence to attempt off lead. Unfortunately despite some owners being able to walk their dogs off lead it isn't feasible in a group setting ss a variety of factors prevent my ability to keep them safe. I provide one hour walks but also a two hour walk for more energetic dogs. My priority is to walk dogs safely and to provide a fun experience every time.

I am able to provide a dog walking service from Monday to Friday. Should my service be required at weekends I am very flexible if requested in advance. Collection and drop off are either side of the one/two hour full walk.

I love to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. I like to provide a variety of walks including parks, woodland, hills, rivers and beaches to ensure each day is exciting. Also I like to use a variety of activities including treasure hunts, find it games and plenty of toys and balls.

I have custom built crates in my large van which ensures that each dog has an individual safe space whilst being transported in the "vehicle of fun"! I only allow my beagles Hamish and Nelson to share one of the large crates as they are inseparable. I have one ginormous crate for extra large breeds, two crates for large breeds ie rottweiler, huskie etc and three medium size crates for your average 20kg breed of dog. I have crash proof safety hatches for each crate if an accident should occur that enables safe exit from an additional hatch.

I will wash away any mud from walks and try my very best to deal with any fox poo or other stinky incidents to ensure they return clean and happy. I use tomato ketchup, fox poo shampoo and my mud daddy when unpleasant incidents occur. However I am unable to deal with harnesses or leads and will bag these for your attention. I provide fresh water during every walk and grain free 80% fish treats which will be given with permission from the owner.

I also provide home boarding for dogs from one household. I live in a cottage which has a disability ramp which is perfect for puppies and older dogs who can't manage stairs. I provide an extremely dog friendly environment with dogs being welcome on furniture for a snuggle but will also adhere to owners guidelines if they don't allow this in their own home. Any dogs boarding will be provided with constant supervision as I don't leave my beagles unattended.

Unfortunately I am unable to respond to requests for quotes. I charge £15 for a doggy adventure which I guarantee will make your pooch return exhausted but happy. My aim in life is to provide every dog I care for to feel loved, safe, and secure. I love seeing dogs gain confidence and feel able to show their fun, loving and mischievous natures.
