I've worked for film stars, politicians, embassies, in large houses and commercial premises, even project managed installations to £1.6m but I still love to work within the humble household, meeting people of all walks in life.
The electronic security industry just doesn't stop developing, so there is a constant learning curve of new and updated equipment to contend with, appraise and approve for use. I look for enough technical ability within a system to be able to adapt peoples options and give them something they never even thought about, but be really useful and easy to use.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my business when my wife became pregnant, seeing the need to provide a stable background, a house and a home for eventually my three children. I was compelled to do better than just work for someone doing the same old thing every day and took the opportunity and diversity of this industry to fulfil that ambition.
That was 42 years ago.
The company values have changed very little, but we've just got little bigger. I still believe the smaller installer can offer much more to a client and keep it on a more personal level, where commitment to your client is greater than just being a number. 'Get in the Que' just doesn't cut it for me. - 'There are 27 other customers waiting, & the wait time is an estimated 1 hour and 15 minutes'. No No No!!! If you need to contact somebody that is a provider of service it should be quickly, without the need to look up a file or just send somebody out because it's chargeable. I provide phone support to all my clients and like to resolve any issues without the need to attend <No charges>

A considerate installation, checking devices are in the correct place to avoid false alarms.
A test and download of equipment after installation, (intruder) writing to file, proving all devices have been checked, are in fact working and are fit for purpose.

Our upload/download programme in the office allows us to connect to your system with your permission. We can remotely diagnose most (95%) problems, and offer options at the time. In general, you have full operation and reset facilities within the grade 2 category so in general, you can do most things. However you may wish to decorate for example and remove a detector from the wall. We can remotely disarm this for you allowing you to remove it yourself, then reinstate when you've finished.
We do our best to accommodate your requests without having to attend, but still offer a full service contract should you prefer this way.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We ask for you to declare if COVID is prevalent in your household before we attend, and will only do so if you are clear and safe.
All our engineers have had two anti-virus jabs as recommended by the Government.
It is imperative we stay COVID safe in these strange times, because we cannot operate if we catch the disease, and it would inconvenience a lot of our existing clients. We use masks or shields when installing and ask to keep a good social distance while we are at your property. We wipe down the controls before we leave to ensure your confidence.
Wireless Intruder Alarms
Our preferred manufacturer is Pyronix, purely on choice due to technical capabilities, and more importantly, simple end user operation. Using a CLOUD operated App system with full upload/download facilities, allows you to control your system from anywhere in the world from your mobile phone or tablet.
But this is not limited to Pyronix. HKC, Texecom, Scantronic (Eaton) & Galaxy are a few other systems installed and maintained.
Wireless means no cables or wires at all out to detectors or sounders. The only cable fitted is the the mains supply which powers the system, and charges the standby battery.
You can even install one of these systems in a barn in the middle of a field, as long as it has mains power.
but it doesn't stop there, we can arrange to install it without mains using a car battery power pack, and can advise your phone using a GSM modem to contact you, at a fixed annual price.
The options are limited to our imagination, because it's the application to any system that gives our 40+ years of experience, the diversity to accommodate.
If you have an existing wired alarm that requires extending (additional protection), this is the equipment for you. As a full Hybrid grade 2 alarm, you can connect all your existing devices into this panel and add everything else with Radio.

Wired Intruder Alarms
As with wireless, all the features of Pyronix with other added benefits for control over lighting, power to gates etc. Installing up to grade 3 for commercial installations.
Again we are not limited to one manufacturer if another is your preferred option.
CCTV IP or Analogue
Everything is going over to IP now and CCTV is no exception. The benefits of adding IP cameras into systems such as CONTROL 4 means flexibility of recording or viewing over different platforms.
Analogue is some people's preference, because it only stays on a local network of cables. We always suggest utilising quality external CAT5e or CAT6 cables to install, to a] limit the amount of cables you have, but ensure quality images and b] allow you to upgrade to IP should you wish to do so at any time. (Futureproof)
Access Control & Audio/Video Door Entry
