I am currently a final year medical student. I have studied in South Africa and Ireland and have experienced learning in many diverse environments. This has allowed me to understand the different learning types and requirements of tutees. Due to my demanding course, I've learnt valuable study skills such as spaced repetition which I facilitate into my teaching methodology in content-heavy subjects such as Biology.

What do you love most about your job?
As a medical student with a passion for biology and teaching, there are several aspects of my job that I absolutely love:
I enjoy sharing tips and tricks that got me through my A levels to my students. Watching them have that "aha" moment when they grasp a difficult topic / understand connections between topics due to mnemonics is incredibly rewarding.
As a medical student, I appreciate the connections between biology and medicine. Teaching biology allows me to highlight these links and show students the real-world applications of what they're learning.
There is a also great satisfaction in knowing that I am making a positive impact on someone's educational journey but helping them achieve their academic goals and learn exam technique which will always help them in other subjects and in their future careers.
