If I could give Studio1314 more than 5 stars then I would! Throughout the whole planning process Wayne kept good communication and was helpful with organising the group shot list. On the day he made himself almost invisible but he still managed to capture some beautiful photos. When organising the group shots he had an upbeat energy while keeping a timely and orderly manner. Wayne, so sorry that we've taken so long to write this, as you probably remember, we weren't that organised to begin with. For anyone reading this, Wayne helped us with our lack of organisation, and many other parts of the day aswell. I could not recommend Wayne from Studio1314 more!! He is incredible! We booked Wayne for our wedding in September and he was amazing from start to finish. Not only are the photos so beautiful, and everything we dreamed of, but he also went above and beyond to help throughout the day. What do I recommend about Wayne….EVERYTHING! He is literally like the fairy godmother you always needed. He prevented my mild meltdown while my makeup plan went down the drain and reminded me to drink water (not just my emotional support red bull). All my guests loved him, and we felt like he was a long lost friend rather than just our photographer. And the photos….well they speak for themselves. Wow, where do I start! Wayne was amazing from start to finish. He communicated with us throughout from the moment we put our deposit down right up until sending us our photos. On our wedding day not only did he travel over an hour to us, he helped us set up the venue and was such an asset to us, even went and grabbed my slippers when my feet were killing 😆 He has a cracking sense of humour and engaged so well with all of our guests, our family and friends still talk about how fantastic he was now (5 weeks on). Wayne features in all of our wedding conversation chats! 2 of our guests were quite severely autistic and he was able to adapt well to cater for them too! We booked wayne for our wedding well over a year before our wedding! We had an engagement shoot which included our children both me and my now husband were blown away with how great he was with our children and how natural the photos he took came out. Wayne recently did our wedding shots and we were once again surprised with his calm and fun manner with both children and our other guests. Our guest have not stopped talking about wayne and how amazing they thought he was. Having now had the photos back I'm beyond delighted with our natural looking photos and memories we can treasure for life!! I cannot recommend Wayne highly enough! If I could give him 10* I would! I met Wayne at a local wedding fayre, and I knew as soon as I met him, he was the photographer for us. His personality and character sets him apart from the rest, and after a morning of wandering around the wedding fayre having the same chats with various wedding vendors who are obviously just peddling the same spiel and just wanting us to spend our money with them, Wayne was like a breath of fresh air, he was so friendly, chatty and laid back, it was just like having a chat with a mate I’d known for years. There was no pushy sales chat or anything like that, he was just Wayne, and I knew he had to be our photographer. Our package included a pre-wedding photoshoot, and we had the best afternoon with Wayne taking these photos. He just has a great way of putting you at ease and I don’t think we stopped laughing all afternoon. We left on such a high and the photos were amazing. We were absolutely over the moon with them and couldn’t wait for wedding day. On the wedding day, Wayne arrived at my Mums house where we were getting ready, around 10am, and it was a bit of a mad house, with myself, 7 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, 2 make up artists, plus of course my Mum and various other family members popping in and out! Wayne was so calm and dealt with all the madness and got some lovely shots of the wedding morning, before heading off to the church to capture my arrival and the ceremony. After the ceremony, we had the ‘formal’ photos outside the church and Wayne was so efficient at organising this and getting the photos done so quickly and smoothly. Several people commented to me how they’ve hung around for ages at other weddings waiting for professional photos to be done, but they couldn’t believe how quickly and seamlessly Wayne got them done. He was also so kind and patient with one of our flower girls, a 4 year old who suddenly decided she didn’t want her picture taken! Wayne was so good with her and we got the pictures in the end! On to the reception, and we were so happy with all of the pictures that Wayne took. He was never pushy, or in your face, and we loved that he spent time with various members of our family and got some amazing shots of them together. I literally had some many comments from guests complimenting the photographer, he made such a positive impression on everyone at the wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wayne to anyone needing a photographer. He is a first class photographer, and provides a first class experience. I wasn't sure I wanted to use a photographer for my wedding because everyone these days has a cellphone camera. I thought that people taking snaps would be fine. How wrong I was. I am so so happy that Wayne was there to take our photos.

Wayne has an eye for taking photos which is brilliant. He doesn't make you feel conscious about the photos when they aren't being staged (for group photos etc). The best ones we got were candid shots of everyone enjoying themselves. I didn't even know he was doing it!

Also, a HUGE note. Wayne was able to get people to move around and was brilliant with crowd control. Being able to tell mothers-in-law what to do, without an incident, is enough to recommend him highly.

I found Wayne through the website bark and instantly I knew we had made a brilliant choice! From start to finish the communication was spot on and discussing what style of pictures we wanted on our big day. On our day at the beginning of June it was like Wayne was part of the wedding party and he was just a joy to have capturing our day. We were initially hesitant about hiring a photographer for our wedding as we thought that we would have enough pictures from all our friends. One of our friends changed our minds about this and I put out a request for photographers on a wedding website as I was struggling to find anyone I liked. Wayne called back and was very warm, funny, had great energy and very quickly understood what we were looking for which were natural, candid type shots rather formal pictures. Wayne arrived at the hotel early and took pictures of myself and my friends preparing for the wedding and spent the day with us, taking so many pictures. He was a joy to have around, everyone liked him. We had a lot of children between 4 and 8, as well as some teenagers at the wedding and he was fantastic with them and we have some really wonderful shots of them as well as us and our family and friends. I’m not sure what time he left in the evening but it was pretty late. We were very excited to receive the pictures that he took, it was so much fun looking through them together, seeing everyone laughing and smiling and having a good time, before, during and after the ceremony. Wayne photographed our wedding the beginning of this month. He’s a great guy with a good sense of humour, made us feel at ease from the get go which wasn’t easy as we are both quite awkward to say the least, in front of the camera. Wayne offered us an engagement shoot as part of our package but as we already have children and it wasn’t really our kind of thing, he invited us into his studio for family pictures instead. We had a great time and it gave us time to get to know him and for the kids to feel comfortable around him. If you can, I would really recommend including a shoot before the big day as by the time the wedding date came it felt more like having a friend turn up to photograph and just made us feel all that more comfortable. Leading up to the day Wayne kept in touch and made sure we knew what the plan was for the wedding day. On the day it’s self, Wayne was absolutely amazing, my son has additional needs which Wayne was aware of and really understanding of this, he was actually the one who persuaded my son to go and get ready and when he was having a wobble about attending, Wayne managed to bring him round to the idea. He was amazing with all the kids, he had a real way with them and saved the day on several occasions. Wayne fitted in well with our guest, he didn’t stand out or get in the way, they all commented on what a nice guy he was. We received our photos in good time and we are extremely happy with them! Wayne has a way of capturing the day and telling a story of what happened through his photos. We cried happy tears, laughed and reminisced the whole way through the album, giving us a feeling of reliving the day all over again which was exactly what we hoped for.
