In June 2024 I decided to start a gym programme and chose Nerissa as my Personal Trainer. At my initial consultation with Nerissa I said my aims were to improve my stamina, strength and lose some weight.
I was realistic to understand my aims would not be achieved in a matter of weeks. From putting together my programme and week on week challenging me to advance, along with her experience, knowledge, guidance and reassurance enabled me to achieve my aims.
I had no hesitation in committing to the programme as it is an essential part of getting the best out of a PT. I could not have achieved my aims without Nerissa.
I have no hesitation in recommending Nerissa to anyone looking to start their fitness journey.

Nerissa gives me focus, motivation and confidence. From my first consultation through my ongoing programme Nerissa is always looking to adapt my programme to keep me on track with my goals - improve stamina, strength and weight loss.
Nerissa’s knowledge and experience is amazing - training programmes, diet, nutrition - providing concise and positive advice throughout. Like many others I knew there would be lots of equipment and weights but did not know which to use, how it would help me or that it might even cause me injuries. Nerissa clearly explained how each operated and on what specific muscles they worked. The above is very much the trainer focus but I am pleased to say Nerissa is always friendly, pleasant and joy to work with.

How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I start with an in-depth consultation to assess each clients fitness level and goals. This also helps me to get to know my clients, their likes and dislikes and how they see their approach to exercise. I then create a tailored fitness plan and work with my clients to keep them accountable with regular check-ins and progress tracking.
I believe my supportive style boots clients' confidence, helping them feel comfortable and capable in the gym. With continuous support and adaptable programmes, I guide clients to achieve their fitness goals and build lasting confidence in their bodies.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consistency!
There are may factors that play a part in reaching your body goals but staying consistent will be the thing that ensure the progress is sustainable and will keep the good habits up long term.
What do you love most about your job?
I love getting to know my clients and having the opportunity to work with them to achieve their goals. I love seeing clients confidence in the gym grow week upon week, as well as their confidence in themselves when they start to see results. Nothing feels better than knowing their time with me has transformed their lives entirely for the better.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had a passion for sport and fitness from a young age but when I started going to the gym I fell in love with the process and was amazed by the progress I made not only in becoming physically stronger but also mentally more resilient too.
I am passionate about working with people to help them achieve their goals and change their lives for the better and so I made the decision to pursue a career in personal training.

I can provide services online. Each client will have access to their own Google Drive containing their plans and trackers and I will keep in touch with them regularly throughout each week as well as planning scheduled weekly check-ins to also have a chat and make sure everything is on track for success.
