I was recommended Nick @ Spier Massage as I had painful calves and heel, I've been seeing Nick now for a few massage treatments and some stretches he gave me and I'm almost pain free. Nick is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I too would recommend Spier Massage to my running pals, family and friends. More...

Why should our clients choose you?
I am fully qualified and fully insured massage therapist. As a sports person myself I understand the benefits of massage for sports and general well being. As an individual I try treat you as such and massages will be tailored to your specific needs. I provide treatments at my home and I provide treatments within the comfort of your own home.
Sports Massage
Generally used for athletes but those who don’t t take part in sports may benefit. Sports massage can helps reduce muscles soreness, prevent muscles tightness and increase blood circulation. Sports massage tends to focus on a certain part of the body, i.e. a cyclists massage will focus on their legs and lower back. Regular sports massage can help prevent injury and the build up of trigger points (muscles knots). At times a sports massage can feel uncomfortable as a firmer pressure is applied to these muscles knots. The massage usually ends with stretching exercises (Post iso-metric relaxation), specific to any tight areas of muscles.
Deep Tissue Massage
Generally a full body or shoulder, back and neck massage. Deep tissue massages uses a firm pressure and slow stroke to massage deep layers of muscle and fascia. This is a great massage for aiding relaxation and getting rid of unwanted muscles tension. If you suffer from stress or anxiety, this type of massage is for you. The massage will be tailored to your needs and I can focus on your primary area of pain or discomfort. Deep tissue massages helps remove unwanted toxins from your body.
Therapeutic Massage
Similar to deep tissue massage, but using a more lighter and gentle massage techniques. Great for those who prefer a relaxing massage.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage
Helps improve the function of the lymphatic system. Has numerous health benefits and aids treatments for lymphedema, certain cancers and can aid recovery from surgery. It has also been shown to aid the removal of cellulite, acne and increase the recovery rate from cosmetic surgery.
