About

My passion for costume design combines my shared love of fashion, psychology, history and storytelling.

I have a first class degree with honours from the Glasgow school of art and three years experience working as a design interpreter and maker in the fashion industry in Paris and now am based in London working as a freelance costume designer, maker and teacher.

I’ve worked for brands including Dior, Armani, Chanel, Thom Browne New York & Yohji Yamamoto Japan, as well as having assisted in the making of costumes for a number of operas designed by Christian Lacroix, and the tv series the serpent queen on stars tv.

I have 6 years of private tutoring experience teaching French to common entrance and GCSE students and have recently been holding repair workshops to teach students in fashion and textiles ways to repair their garments as sustainability within the fashion and costume is an issue that’s very close to my heart.
