Highly recommend! I found Shems details on the British Gas website. I was wanting to use British Gas’ Hive charger and Solid Electrics Ltd was one of two companies in the Hampshire area within British Gas’ list of Approved Installers. The quotation was sent to me within 24 hours and was a full itemised list. Communication with Shem was always prompt and helpful, answering any queries I had. Shems time keeping was excellent, workmanship was very good and he tidied the area on completion. He ensured he didn’t leave until the EV charger was fully operational (they take a little while to download software from the WiFi) and he assisted me with the set up. I also asked Shem to install power into my external garage which was completed the same time. Although I hadn't forgotten the appointment, I appreciated the text reminder and ETA. Shem fitted a ceiling fan, and a light above my bathroom mirror for me. The fan needed to be assembled, but he has done a brilliant job. I'm really pleased with both, and he also showed me how to change the bulbs when necessary. Highly recommend So Solid Electrics - Shem came to our rescue when we were looking to get our extension and building works signed off to obtain a completion certificate from Building Control. We’d left 3 year gap from staring our build to having our electrical works signed off, during this time we’d continued to work on the house and regulations changed. Shem was able to make our electricals safe and compliant with little disruption to our freshly painted rooms and then signed everything off giving us our EICR certificate. Phoned them told them our problem and Jem came around within two hours.We told him our problem with the internet which he immediately investigated. He gave us two solutions to our problem. He gave us a quote and we phoned him back for the go ahead.Jem was very knowledgeable professional polite and even put shoe covers on to protect our carpet.
