About

Who is there for me?
A valid question when we are suffering with mental health issues and yet we avoid asking it for fear of sounding selfish.
I would offer that rather than being selfish it is an essential and valid question but, sadly, one that is often difficult to find the answer to.

The counselling service I have received from SLS Creative Counselling, is helping me to gain a better understanding of myself and to review patterns of thoughts and behavior. The counsellor listens as I share my thoughts and I feel supported in a safe and confidential way. More...

Q&As

I love working with clients and witnessing them unlocking their own barriers and moving towards a way of living that is more fulfilling for them. I am always humbled by the power that each client has within them to bring about the change they desire when they are offered a safe, confidential space in which to explore these barriers.

In the past, I myself have tried to seek help and found that the offerings through the NHS were never quite what I needed. I was inspired to start my own business because I want to offer a service to my clients which is bespoke to them.

Clients should choose me because the experiences within my own life have helped me to open my eyes to the diverse nature of human-kind. I believe that I am able to offer a non-judgemental, confidential space where empathy and challenge go hand in hand.

I am able to provide online services as well as face to face work. Online sessions are 50 minutes in length and conducted through the platform, Google Teams. I work online from home and am, myself, in a safe, confidential space.

Services

I am an integrative therapist drawing on a range of theories including Person Centred Therapy; Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT); Transactional Analysis (TA) and Psychodynamic Theory. I believe that you are the person that should drive your own therapy and as such I never seek to offer advice or to fix things, rather we will collaborate to find the ways of working that suit you.
