Steve was quick to respond to my enquiry, he was very helpful and a good clean worker. He was very careful moving my furniture ( he had to do it all as I am unable to due to age and mobility issues). When finished he returned everything to its place, after vacuuming all the carpet, he even replaced some light bulbs for me. He was here for two days, arriving at the time agreed, and painted, and plastered where necessary, the lounge and bedroom. Steve carried out our external painting to a high standard and in a highly professional manner. He is a really pleasant person and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Steve is great - very likeable, helpful and went above and beyond whilst on site; calling out a plumbing issue and dealing with an overenthusiastic internet engineer. 5* for can-do attitude, but...
... despite describing himself as 'OCD' about tidiness and finish, that's not what I experienced. Drip runs on woodwork, sparse brushwork on some of the emulsion. My impression is that he rushed the finish to get to another job. I flagged the issues to give him a chance to comment or redress them but he didn't respond to any of the points I raised.

All in all, an OK job but I'm not sure I would use him again... If I did, I would need to exercise more quality control. More...

This customer wanted perfection but only paid 20% less than the original agreed price! He got much more than he paid for and still was not satisfied! Would never work for him again
