What do you love most about your job?
What I love the most about being a modern celebrant is that I get to support the couples that I work with during the most joyous time of their lives, helping the to embark on their married lives, providing them with the best ceremony possible. I also get to support bereaved families at one of the most challenging times of their lives, which is an honour and a privilege.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After a working life of over 35 years within the NHS and Education sector, I wanted to embark on something that would suit my lifestyle better. I felt that working for myself would give me the flexibility that I needed to fit in with my family circumstances. I also felt that by becoming a celebrant, I would be able to use all the valuable, transferable skills I have during all of my working life, for the benefit of the couples and families that I now work with.
Why should our clients choose you?
If you choose me to be your celebrant I will bring all of the life and professional experience I have gained, as these are what make me truly unique.
I will bring compassion and care from my years of nursing to ensure I provide you with a ceremony that will honour you and your loved one and provide you with the loving support you need at this time. I will use my training as a teacher to offer a professionally written and delivered ceremony, inclusive of all of your thoughts, wishes and ideas, brought together in a confident ceremony you will be proud of.

I can meet with couples and families remotely, using WhatsApp, Zoom or any other platform familiar to you.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As above, I can meet online to ensure that my customers remain safe, whilst still being able to access all the support that I can give them at this time.
Weddings
I am a safe pair of hands! We can work together to create the atmosphere, vows, music and ceremony - the perfect celebration that reflects who you are and what the future holds for you! There is no restriction on where, when or how you get married, it's up to you!!
Your special day can be filled with all the dreams you wish for! Together you and I can make it what you want it to be! Traditional (but it doesn't need to be, unless that is what you want), modern, quirky, stylish, off-the-wall!
Whatever you choose it will be unique and personal to you! Close your eyes and describe your perfect day to me, and we can make it happen!

Funerals, Memorials and Celebration of Life
This is probably one of the hardest things you have had to do...
please be assured I am here to help in any way I can.
You will need time to process your loss, and I can help you through the plans and decisions that you will need to make at this difficult time.
Together we can create a truly dignified memorial service to honour your loved one and celebrate their life. This can be done through a traditional ceremony, a Celebration of Life, a memorial or anything you wish it to be.
Baby Naming
If you want to celebrate the life you have created, the family you have started and to make wonderful, memorable moments together, then I am the celebrant for you! The blessing of a child and giving them their own unique name is truly an honour.
