I purchased a TV and fixture through Amazon, and they provided me with the details of an assigned engineer. On two occasions, the engineer cancelled due to being “unwell” I then searched for a local professional and came across Mark, only to later realise, through the photo and introduction letter Amazon had sent, that he was in fact the same engineer who had previously cancelled yet was able to do the job the same day he was unwell through his own business? Despite the initial letdowns, I let it go as he eventually came and completed the job. I was satisfied to book him again to mount two additional TVs, which he did. During that visit, he promised to return and conceal the wires in my second lounge when completing my media wall. He scheduled the follow-up for a Sunday, which happened to fall on Mother’s Day. When he didn’t show up, I messaged him via WhatsApp and his business page, but received no response. I gave it a few days, thinking something might have happened, and reached out again still nothing. Mark was fully aware of how important this media wall project was to me, especially as it was something he initially offered to take on. I’m very disappointed in how things turned out and, while he did complete some work, I would strongly advise having a backup plan if you choose to book him. More...

Mark responded quickly to my initial enquiry, setting the tone for great communication throughout the process. Mark was extremely knowledgable about the job in hand (wall mounting 3 TVs, with the wires fully embedded), talking me through the process, what the end result would look like and any parts needed ahead of the installation date (saving me money). On the day, Mark turned up exactly when he said he would and worked tirelessly all day. All work was completed to a high standard, with Mark diligently tidying up as he went. Mark was booked for me through Curry’s to install my new telly, of which as anyone your excited for! I was told Monday he would visiting my property, so I made time in my diary to make sure I was available to be at the property from afternoon to evening, when it came to the afternoon I received no communication from Mark, or the company that booked him, even though he had my telephone number as he contacted me by phone call the day before to discuss the Job. I found this really rude and unprofessional to not let someone who has made arrangements to know that you’re not coming, even when I called at 5.30pm to check if he was still coming he didn’t answer. Shame as I was hoping for it to be done; now left with a loss of earnings from being absent from work and having to find someone else that will turn up. More...

We had a 98inch TV that was delivered last week. Clueless about how it looks before ordering we were scratching our heads on whether it should go on the wall or a stand. To try our luck, we published the ad on Bark and today had Mark and Rodrigo arrive on time and mounted it to the wall. They are both extremely professional and taught us a new technique of how to effectively use the hoover while drilling 🫣😆 and in few minutes the TV was up and stunning. I recently used this service through Bark and unfortunately had a very frustrating experience. After filling out a few questions, a man named Mark contacted me within 30 minutes. His reviews were all five stars, so I decided to go ahead with the booking. While there was some miscommunication on my end (due to lack of sleep), I apologized and expected the service to proceed as discussed. Mark offered availability in two weeks, and I was okay with the wait, especially since I was looking forward to having the work done for my children to see.
However, when the day arrived (28th January), Mark couldn’t make it, which I understood. He did offer an apology and a £10 discount, which I appreciated. We then rescheduled for the next day, 29th January, at 9 AM. I rearranged my schedule and moved things around in my home again to accommodate the appointment.
At 9 AM, I was waiting, but by 9:30, there was still no sign of him. I tried calling and messaging with no response. It wasn’t until around 2 PM that he finally got back to me, only to inform me that he wanted to send someone else to do the work. This was frustrating, especially since I had clearly communicated my needs and the fact that I had a school run to manage. It felt inconsiderate to be left hanging like this, especially after I had made significant efforts to prepare for the appointment.
I understand that things happen, but the lack of communication and professionalism made this experience very disappointing. If you value your time and want to ensure reliability, I would suggest looking elsewhere for services. I would rate this company zero stars if I could, and I would not recommend using them. More...
