SEDART Carpentry And Construction

Recently had Sedart (Brad) fitting our new kitchen, (subcontractor to Wickes Kitchens). Estimated fitting time 3/4 days.
Brad continually didn’t turn up and left us on and off for a period of weeks, taking other jobs on.
Promising to finish, but constantly lying day after day.
The quality of work was a health and safety issue. He never finished the kitchen.
This is just a small sample list not all, of both bad work and dangerous safety issues.
1. Floor cupboards not level.
2. Worktops not level and cut to short, no edging fitted.
3. Splash backs, cut and fitted incorrectly, edges on the splash backs so sharp would rip your hands to threads.
4. Splash back cut with an extremely large gap around the plug socket.
5. Did not fit hob protection plate, resulting in burning our hands, plus health and safety issues the wiring was not pulled tight enough while being connected by Brad.
6. Wall cupboards not supported or secured and deemed extremely dangerous as they would have fallen down at any moment.
7. Our experience with this company (Brad) has been a complete nightmare plus health and safety dangerous works. Majority of the kitchen has had to be re fitted, work tops, splash backs and other kitchen goods have had to be re ordered to replace the mess that has been made. Which has to be corrected. SEDART recently fitted a new kitchen in our 17th century cottage. Their workmanship and attention to detail was first class. Our original intention was to have the suppliers fit the new kitchen but a builder friend suggested SEDART whom he had previously used. Their quote for doing the work was extremely competitive and their timescales fitted perfectly with ours.
Bradley(SEDART) was great in everything he did for us. From his workmanship right through to his resolving problems we had with the supplier over their design. The price we were quoted was the price we paid there were no hidden extras.
