After nearly 30 years of working within the zoological sector I am now semi-retired and have free time to manage my animal care business, this being dog walking, pet sitting and dog training if requested. I also offer Exotic Pet sitting services.

Steve was lovely , Our puppy liked him right away . I had a couple of updates during the day of what he'd been doing etc and when he came back I could see how happy and relaxed he was. Will definately call on Steve again. Also you can tell he genuinely liked our dog. Thank you Steve More...

Pet Sitting
We had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish having Steve look after our two naughty little dachshunds.
Steve cam to visit them and us before we went away and we talked through everything to do with the dogs and the house. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and took amazing care of both dogs and the house. (I think both pooches were very sad to see him go!)
Steve kept in regular contact with us while we were away and we felt so relaxed and comfortable leaving our fur babies with him and we came back to a spotless home with was amazing!
I would thoroughly recommend Steve to look after any type of pet. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience with huge variety of animals (as the name suggests) and to top it off, he’s really lovely guy! :)

What do you love most about your job?
I have always had a deep love of animals, conservation and nature. I can apply my zoological experience and knowledge to my animal care business.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a semi-retired zoo professional I want to keep my love and connection with animals through my business and help pet owners when they require assistance.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am an experienced animal carer who has a deep love and respect for all wildlife. I am caring, patient and understanding of an animals needs and respectful of this.

My first point of contact is online initially. If a potential client is in need of one or more of my services I will arrange to meet the pet's owner and pet's. I will bring with me my; proof of ID, Qualifications and references.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Due to my zoological experience biosecurity has been a prevalent long before Covid. I have my regular vaccinations and if I notice any symptoms I will self isolate if I test positive for Covid.
Dog Walking
I offer a flexible and reliable dog walking service.
Pet sitting
I can offer a dedicated and reliable pet sitting service in the pet owners home, this also encompasses Exotic pet's and taking care of the owners home whilst they are away.
Dog training
I have much experience working with various species. I am competent in Operant conditioning through Positive Reinforcement techniques. This could be anything from correcting Lead and walking behaviors to recall off lead.
Exotic pet sitting
Due to my experience working in the zoological sector I can offer Exotic Pet sitting in the owners own home. I will also look after the pet owners home whilst they are away.
